How concerned should we be with the number of our key players in Europe not getting meaningful minutes for their club teams?.
David and Davies are the only consistent starters for their teams. Larin plays a lot but rarely the full 90--he either gets subbed on or off, such that his minutes per match average about 50. AJ plays consistently for Celtic but once the Hoops are out of the UCL, he plays in a weak domestic league. Kone is no longer a given to play for Watford. He at least plays in most matches, unlike Eustaquio who hardly plays at all for Porto since returning from injury months ago. Buchanan has never started for Inter (no surprise) and plays less than 20 minutes in those games where he is lucky enough to be subbed in. I know Bair has been scoring a ton. Scoring is scoring, but he plays in the SPL...In form MLS players may be the only Canadians getting the minutes they need to stay fit, but MLS isn't going to prepare them for the Copa America. Canada Soccer needs to pony up to train the team properly and they need to use the friendlies to tune up players who've been sitting too much.

I agree. Inter move was strange for Buchanan. Let's hope he gets more minutes as Inter is wrapping up title win.
