白頭翁學名：Pycnonotus sinensis formosae，英文名：Light-vented Bulbul ，台語鄉土名：白頭殼 ，屬鵯科，台灣特有亞種鳥類，普遍的留鳥， 身長約18~19公分，通常營巢於離地不高的雜木林或樹叢裡，以芒草穗等築碗形巢。
The light-vented bulbul (Pycnonotus sinensis) is a species of bird in the bulbul family. It is found in central and southern China, northern Vietnam and Taiwan.

Another wonderful observation you saw and also filmed. Too bad it's too far for me where you live. Because I think I will see many beautiful birds that are not here. But I enjoy all your observations too you know. And also this bird with keeping the eggs warm was beautiful again.👌Nice sight that tail outside the nest. The nest actually looks a little too small so to the eye.👍

They build nest on the trees in the garden outside my window. I observe them every day, which makes me very excited. Taiwan has a very rich number of birds to watch. You are welcome to come to Taiwan for bird watching. Although it is far away from you, it will be worth it.
