- The cardiovascular examination: narrated and illustrated.
The video that started it all. 🥺
This was me as a medical student, examining My friend Martyn (what a legend).
Back then I was making apps for 'medical student apps' but now the focus is more on UA-cam education.
This video footage is old, but the content is still on point today. Worth a watch!

No Problem Aishunair :) - I have another video that I plan to upload in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned.
THANKYOU!! this is the best video I have seen on a cardiovascular exam. Now I wont look as stupid as a student on ward rounds.
Excellent stuff, I just wish you had all my other potential OSCE stations before my final student OSCEs a week Wednesday but I guess I should have some vague idea what I'm doing by now! I guess everybody will have their own little nuances with a bit of pulse delays with coarctation, breathing techniques to boost murmur sounds and all that, but this is good stuff.
Most helpful cardiac physical exam video that I have seen. Thank you.
Thank you for this video. i am right now before graduating exam from internal medicine and i am missing such a brief, quick and good ways of repeatings as this one. Thank you :)
one of the best videos about cardio exam on youtube, great work
2 things I could suggest - don't use the thumb to palpate the carotid and explain how you check for pitting edema (how many secods you're pressing etc)
A great and complete rs examination for undergrad medical student ❤,
Thanks for watching this. Its old, but gold💛
MashaALLAH great video
@iceman2640 Thanks iceman2640 - yes these are currently underway! stay tuned.

The link to the cardiovascular app can be found in the description of the video tutorial above. The link is also posted below but you need to put world wide web before it.
Please take the time to have a look at the application. It contains essential exam facts that can be rapidly reviewed and tested.

I think this is a very good video. It will be great both of you make one about abdominal and respiratory examination.
I like the part where he has the patient expose his subconjunctiva himself rather than doing it for him. Very elegant.
No problem shekharaney - stay tuned for chest x-ray interpretation!!
wonderful! really helpful
great video ,very helpful
excellent tutorial..,
Excelent video!
thank you !
Could you expound on why you look for sacral edema during a cardiovascular exam?
Intriguing videos. Thank you for creating and sharing them.
Absolutly - so in patients with fluid overload, if lying down for an extended period, fluid may migrate from the legs to the sacral region - therefore it is important to assess this area for oedema.
@@TheLearnMedicineShow thank you so very much
