His MMR is extremely high for someone in Gold. The game recognizes that and is trying hard to throw him in the next division.

The game sees hes way too good for this rank (like a 2-3 kd), so after every game he will get huge amounts of SR to get him out of that rank, if he starts playing worse like a 0.50 kd in 2 matches the game thinks he deserves to be in that rank, so he’ll get like 50-70 SR
