Kinfolk, thank you man. You are one of my favorite channels to learn how to use Blender the way that I want to use Blender; Digital Kitbashes! Love your creativity yo!
I base coat with a W&N series 7 (size 2) and then highlight with Rosemary series 33 (size 2). I normally would use a lower quality brush for base coating (like a cheap synthetic brush)-- but I accidentally got some superglue on the tip of the W&N, so I just use that one.
Hey my friend, I just had a quick question. What if you wanted to print your actual playable characters? How would you do that? I’ve been wanting to do it for a while cause I really worked hard in the game for my characters I wanna bring them to life. Could you help me out?
Hello! Other than sculpting/kitbashing it yourself-- I'd recommend using something like Fiverr (use code IPAINTSMALLTHINGS for 10% off haha) to hire somebody to sculpt it for you. I've also heard good things about Hero Forge (www.heroforge.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4rK8BhD7ARIsAFe5LXJ6ct3SKAcuwM5ROqW5RKV-IdUb30NLtMLg5aNZOxpwmcxq90q750AaAuiyEALw_wcB). You can use their character creator & get a miniature printed and sent to you! I haven't used it-- but that may be a good option as well!
@@iPaintSmallThings vallejo's is basically a water based putty, so you could smooth it using water. As to Tamiya, it's some sort of plastic or something like that, because it works with plastic glue, very stinky but useful as well. Also, if you're gonna use tamiya putty, then you have to check out how to make armor cast texture with it, a lot of scale modelers have made videos about it
@@patryk9354 That definitely sounds worth trying! You could also probably use sprue goo instead of liquid greenstuff. That could be cool to do on a vehicle! Thanks for the tips
I love all the gas marks and extra lenses the datktide characters have. You've really captured the look of the game.
haha I agree! Gasmasks make everything better. I really appreciate it!
jaw dropping talent in every avenue you traverse
wow thank you!! haha this made my day :D
Soon we will get the whole cast of lovable characters. I hope to see the traitor guardsman next.
haha slowly! I'll make sure to post the ones that I don't make full on tutorials for!
This video triggered my PTSD. Great work!
lmao I should have had a trigger warning at the start. Thanks!

Bro just use a normal putty, either from vallejo or tamiya, but for the love of God don't use liquid green stuff. It's trash
lmao I have to agree with you. I'll check those out!
