It's a fantastic place to visit walking the streets of pompeii and seeing the mosaics still intact in some places. There are also plaster casts of some of the bodies they found that were frozen in time due to the Ash and lava .Walking inside the the remains of the colleasium was a great experience and going up to near the top of Versvius was amazing that was 20 years ago next week!, wow how time fies !
