With pay-to-win necessary to be competitive online, predatory and anti-consumer micro-transactions, the fact that Visual Concepts/2K Games do not support their online servers after only 1 year of the game's release which is absolutely ridiculous, and the game requiring to always be connected to the internet for My Career and My Team, I give this game a 0 out of 10.
Hey, guess what??? NO ONE is forcing you to purchase/play.
online gaming never appealed to me. i prefer real game features like nba live 07 superstar triggers and x factors.

This is a probably a bad comparison but just my opinion. I’m usually satisfied with 2k with the amount of game modes that are available. Play now online, my career, the city etc..
this is in comparison to great games like God of war and Uncharted where once you beat it the life of the game is pretty much over. But 2k I’m able to play all year long

Gameplay is solid. I still wish they used the lighting from nba 2k14 on ps4. I don't play online so pay to play doesn't really affect me but I won't argue with those who feel it cheapens the experience. I bought it for the PC and they already are working on mods and have added missing players on eras teams.
@staywoke623 They won't sadly. Look I'm with you. They look at how many people have "next gen" vs ps4/xbox one consoles. We shouldn't even be calling the ps5 and series x next gen because they are really current gen. Hell ps5 wants to release a ps5 pro and talking about the ps6. This whole generation on consoles have been a disappointment. Other than quick resume and faster loading times there are many games the xbox one X and ps4 pro couldn't run. Think about this take 2 have milked grand theft auto 5 so much and it started on the ps3 and 360. I thought after 2k14 on ps4 I couldn't wait to see the future of nba 2k. They ditched the lighting and eco motion engine.
@jdgreen214 gameplay is solid at first but after a few games in, it breaks and becomes fast and plays like shit. U will notice it when u can run pass cpu like nothing as they just stop playing defense. Once it breaks, even if u quit the game and play another game, it still does the same shit.

@jdgreen214 it's been like this for years. For whatever reasons the first few games play great. Its slow and its hard to get pass ur defender. Then it breaks and players starts to run like they are on skates and it goes really fast w no more cpu defense. It's like the speed and slider break or something but it becomes shit.
Stiff unreponsive defense! They need to proplay some dam D! I want countless "wow" moments with Patrick Ewing!

By calling plays. The only thing "difficult" about HOF is they nerf you and handicap the AI.

@@Yessir_BOY yeah I realized they ACTUALLY stopped nerfing you on higher difficulty and just made the AI a bit smarter. You do different pass types though? Bounces? Idk, it's a little bit more pleasantly challenging but definitely blowing them out by mid 3rd qtr
@@JoeyLegenddI do everything in my power lol but it’s not consistent enough scoring wise, to keep up with the Ai scoring if that makes sense? Like I don’t expect to score every time but I can’t even go 50/50 with the Ai
Playing with SGA on this game feels amazing , they got his play style down completely, I’m impressed by how good pro play has turned out
Thanks for the review. I'm surprised you didn't notice the game breaking CPU substitution bug in MyNBA modes. At least in in MyGM, the CPU won't sub out their starters for regular season games and by the 4th quarter they are all gassed and easy to beat.
Im with the play now community there is really not point of play theres no reward, cant play with your favorite team only 1 in 5 games , no tiers cant get sent back down if you lose i give this gm 5/10

I think this is a good game but missing many importants things and the offline mode they shoud improve it because is the same in the last years

it's not free lmao. It comes with the game which is 70 dollars. Man, 2k's microtransactions are so fucking bad that it has yall thinking that regular game modes are considered free

I have that same issue. The CPU leaves in most of the lineup for 48 minutes with just a 7 man rotation. I'm definitely experiencing this bug

I'm back to playing nba2k23 again. I hate I bought this game. Too many animations. Animations that don't make sense. No one can get downhill and just simply dunk. Too many unnecessary animations. The game looks great but too much going on just to make a shot and move

Normal risk - Most balanced overall. Similar to previous 2Ks (except 24) you can make whites.
Difficulty level - Easiest if you’re playing on easy levels (rookie, pro).
High risk - Only if you like that on the sticks. It’s way less likely you can make whites (similar to 24).

Probabbly a dumb question, but does this version have international games?
The game is great at startup but after playing a few games, the speed and the slider breaks. It becomes very fast and cpu don't play anymore onball defense. Wtf. U start to feel like ur ⛸️ around.

It's not even great at startup. It's just trash all together.
@smartmouf3116 when it loads up fine, it plays great! That's why u get some people saying this is the best game ever. For others, it doesn't load up correctly, and u get a shit version of it. The game is unstable as fuck.

if you have ps5 and capable pc. they would use old engine on xbox S for example. its like you bought the game for new roster. you wont notice the improved movts if youre not using next gen device.
