Hi Sangeetha sree, I always say one thing, there is no such thing called manual testing and automation testing. There is only TESTING. As a tester, you need to know how to create test strategies, planning, designing the test cases, test case coverage, test execution, bug raising, test closure and so on. Automation comes under only one place and that is Test execution. Rest of the stuff are still manual and it will be manual. The way you execute your test cases decides if you are doing automation testing or manual testing. So to answer your question, you need to know testing concepts, execution you can choose whatever you want. BUT, why would the employer prefer to choose the execution mode to be manual when there is a proven automated solution? Requirements for the hiring differs from company to company. So we can't generalize that. You will not see job opportunities for manual alone, you need automation as well.

Obviously communication is crucial. For your job it’s not like either your technical skill or communication. It’s your technical skill and communication. But there are few exceptions. Try to work on improving your language. All the best.

Manual testing won't alone help you. If you are a complete beginner and don't have any idea with IT, start from agile Playlist and then jira tutorials, then manual testing tutorials after that learn selenium
