The digital system has ruined their way of thinking. USArmy had a Basic German training class for us before going to Graf in '77. i can count just as "good" in German as American. never had any problems. never tried to learn it before then.ya gotta know how to count yer pfennigs. now the Brits with pounds and pence and shillings,, no clue.

Scott Miller It’s called “24-hour clock/time” in the rest of the world. Only the States call it “military time”.

The 24 hour clock is also very common here in England as well as the colloquial use of telling the time as in Germany,
