Yes the BDD was caused by the fashion industry particularly by those who require models to be skin and bones. What that has caused is horrific. Many girls died because of those neurotic beauty standards. No to anorexia.

It's a fine movie. Most people would never have known about that film if it had not been for the press that infamous scene created. I think it's so cool that she has had a career that has become even stronger because of it.
@@joansmith69 Her career went from leading big time movies to basically a few tv shows and a movie here and there. Generally speaking "porn" is not art, and that was a horrible decision for her, basically a hooker - money for actual sex. Not empowering to women, its harmful and her career suffered for it.

I remember her from. STAMFORD mall, she worked at the Polo store ..she lived i believe in Darien CT. we hung out several times...with her friend Nisa , and Rebecca...this was like 1990..damm..long as time ago..
