Sculpt is phenomenal, and the figure is great size too. I wish they do more DBZ Piccolo though, since we are getting a DB one next year I am hopeful!

Good review. I just ordered the regular namek on boxlunch 30%off. But I got it for $51. I like this Piccolo, he has more anatomy/veins/clothing wrinkle details than the other version.

I personally don’t think Last one prizes that are like this are worth it. Not for the up in price that is. But if you like the look then by all means go for it. I just don’t like it

@@DragonCollector01 yes. Or even a slight difference in a hand pose. Just that little difference will make the figure cost a lot more.

Really looking forward to picking him up! Prefer it over the Beast version, also find it quite funny that both Orange Piccolo & Beast Gohan go better with the other versions from Beast 😂

Damn, why so shiny and cheap plastic looking?? (B price, I mean). Sculpt is perfect, but I miss that matt look from other prizes like Nappa, Vegeta, Turles, etc :_(

I really honestly think they should do premium coloring for Last One figures.
Shading, highlights, etc. Or even blood/battle damage. It would be so much better than just recoloring parts.
I think you are spot on my dude. People would be far less disappointed if they went ALL OUT with recolors. If they just made recolors into Manga Dimensions I think people would go nuts

Actually just realised what a "cheap and easy" way could have been to create a last price and still make it more unique -> All they had to do was to add the Holy-Tree symbol on his back from his awakening, maybe even make it shiny/golden. Would be barely any work to do that, yet make last one price way better than it is rn
Definitely would have been a better direction!
I like B more than the last one. It was the same with the LO beast broly few years ago (except for the hair, the normal version was way better than the shiny LO)

Yup I never see blood on figures anymore. Might be a marketing reason!
@@MatchesPeaches Actually the recent gxmateria of freeza had plenty of blood on him. It's weird that this kuji Piccolo doesn't have some 🤔
@@zizouw9 my man’s is correct. Though they made them look like dried blood or bruises. Not sure what the gray area is for these
Awesome review as always! I actually picked up the LOP because of the metallic look. Now i agree it was lazy to just paint the pants and shoes, but its just the same with the recycled Gohan body and just changing the head to beast form. At the end of the day its personnel preference. I wouldn't say one is better than the other just go with what you like! If you don't care at all, save money and grab the Prize B!
That's fair though I would argue the Beast Gohan has a brand new head sculpt whereas this Piccolo is just a color/finish swap. I just don't think it looks good personally, but everyone has their personal preference.

Totally understandable
Decent figure, but i prefer the previous orange piccolo. Also the last one prize is awful, that shiny paint is terrible and i know from experience it gets sticky and starts to come off after a few months.

So this is definitely steering me towards prize B.Was basically set on getting the last one before watching this😂 Great point about the odd choice to only have shiny pants & shoes. Actually seeing it now just makes the rest of the figure look more awkward.

We had very great figurines this year, specially Ginyuu Toksentai,
But I think this Piccolo is my favorite 2023 fig, the sculpture made it better than the one in the anime, but doesn’t denature Piccolo, like the Broly’s did, plus finally he got a Power up after all this time. After he was wasted during Buu saga

I personally like this over the Omni Beast Piccolo, mainly because it's meant to be his Giant form. I do wish he was about an inch or two taller since it IS supposed to be his giant form, but I think it's phenomenal in general. B is definitely better than the LP though.

The second one looks the best to me it look to me like they put an artistic point of view in it he's the best piccolo figure I've ever seen but I belive there's better figures of piccolo out there

I know you keep your boxes do you empty it out and fold it like I do or do you keep it as a whole square
I keep them whole with the inner packaging inside then I throw them into the closet
