Though Citrus is visually and thematically stunning; absolutely breaking and remaking my heart anew, I find Yagate Kimi ni Naru to be a more compelling romance, partly because it delves deeper into explicitly queer issues, and the main pairing is just so compelling.

Both the anime and the manga are really popular, so a second season is not unlikely. It could arrive as soon as October 2020. Until then, read the manga.
As much as I think it has its flaws both as a standalone and as an adaptation, it's still definitely my AoTS, and I will miss watching the anime every week. Regarding the song, I think you did a fantastic job with the arrangement! The song itself is rather simple, but delivers what it needs to.

Hmm hints of love triangle but it isn’t the main focus. It’s the two female protagonists that’s the main focus, so should be a good watch.
