i'm brazilian, jornal da record is from here. basically they just talked abt violent games, shooting games, etc; only talking abt the violent games in the platform. they also spread misinformation by saying roblox has 1.7 billion active users daily or something like that (i don't rly remember what i heard in a brazilian roblox news channel, but it was at least 1 billion and 70 million daily users in roblox that record claimed to be true), they also complained that it has a multiplayer chat, which almost every multiplayer game has; aswell as a bunch of stuff that are flaws in most other multiplayer games (at least of the types similar to games in roblox). it was just bullshit, even tho roblox isn't all good either.

ROBLOX moderation needs to be exposed for their bad attitude in appeals because one day I made music for a game for my friend, and they falsely warned her for using it even though I allowed her to use it, and it wasn't copyrighted. I appealed with her, and they had the worst attitude in the appeal I ever witnessed. I threatened to call Corporate on them if they continued to act immature in the situation. After that they fixed the issue but continued with their horrible attitude. I'm close to filing a report claim on ROBLOX if they continue to act immature with their company's moderation.

Hello, I'm Brazilian and I want to say a few things about the record TV channel (the D in the name of the channel is silent) so I don't really recommend trusting this channel since they've been spreading misinformation about games for a long time now, showing gameplays of shooting games and saying that they were footage related to the attacks that were taking place in Ukraine and things much worse than that I just wanted to ask that if anyone of you is reading this message, please ignore them, they post a lot of fake news and take things out of context for content
Sorry, I forgot to mention, in the part where they talk about favelas and stuff like that, they were referring to games that basically recreate certain locations that have traffic and stuff like that.These are not very nice places in Brazil, they are kind of places dominated by drug trafficking and drug factions, I even understand that they tried to warn about these games, but also for some reason they took things out of context about Roblox
all facts spoken by this guy, for those who don't know and are spreading bullshit in the comments. also, in the 2nd paragraph, he meant they talked abt games that recreate locations like trafficking, not traffic (he got the wrong word which is similar, only human after all). there are in fact places where crime is more dominant than the authorities, but roblox definitely isn't just a platform for criminals and child predators (which they also complained abt in the report)

The homepage is only shifted to the left if you use adblockers on Roblox's website which automatically move the main page content to the left when the left advert is removed. Its just a side-effect of how HTML works to display webpages.

As a Brazilian, Jornal Da Record always paints game on bad notes (usually) and t1r0 in Favela translates into "Shootings in Favelas" which are like small villages, and they have quite alot of crimes.
roblox was actually on news on turkey too. the change was they put piggy clips but they didnt talka bout roblox. they talked about games the kids was playing on their phones with guns(they are least 15) and they made it twice. they made it for poppy playtime too btw

As a brazillian, i can say what is said about roblox. They said that there is criminal gangs on roblox, they said that games such as: "exército brasileiro", "jail break" (and others) are not safe for kids. They also said that the chat is bad and should not be allowed in the game. They also spoke about a criminal thing that happened (a adult sent nudes for a 10y old kid) and is pretty much it.
Record usually paints Video Games in a bad light, well, the guy that owns Record owns a church, so you can guess where this is going.

Dont mind "Jornal da Record" they are from Brazil (which is my country btw), they talked about the "violent" games on the Roblox Platform, they completely ignored the fact that games have age rating and alot of other restrictions that Roblox has, and painted like most of the players are just adults, which is not true.
What they should pointed out was how parents can control what their kids play on the roblox platform and moderate them to not waste their robux on gambling system inside some of roblox games.
as a brazillian myself, its very stupid what did they do, they are looking like the sky news reporter after trash-talking the children that have beaten tetris, roblox has age, pin, country, and many more restrictions, even though some are bad, there basically saying "guys I think this platform is bad because I think there are no restrictions because yes".

As a brazilian i can say that they are talking about those 13+ games and about the chat. I dont agree but welp, not the first time the News report "Record" overescalates somethings like that.
I'm a Brazillian too. I think that the Canal da Record news channel decided to talk about the dangers of roblox because in brazillian roblox, games like "Tiroteio na Favela" which can be translated to "Shootout in the slums" and some other games picturing places in Brazil are famous and are played constantly by them. And because of these types of games, what I think is that Jornal da Record spoke about these games on Roblox because they portray conflicts between the police and criminals. Honestly, if I were an adult, like 30+ I'd definitely think that children could be influenced by these games an maybe even think that types of scenarios like this in real life could not be that harmful.

About the whole Roblox on the news thing: There are some games that are made that aren't that much for kids (obviously stated by some tweets that they have their respective rating). Some of them are about shooting on favelas, the brazilian army and etc. Record always says bad things about anime and games, so dw it's normal LMAO

They also used as an example the military experience roleplay in a little second of the video saying it estimulates violence and also teaches kids wrong stuff. They also mencioned the amount of adults that talk to children pretending to be children. Thats basically it, and it's pretty funny because no one here actually takes that seriously. They made also a news report about death note (the anime) and how it's terrible for the younger audience.
