I've noticed too how incredibly valuable her bts videos are. She's made me understand how to organise my thoughts and ideas and where to start when implementing them. I've been shying away from graphics designing because it seemed like this hard thing that only specific talented people can do but after watching her rebranding videos it got me so excited that I downloaded illustrator for the first time and made a logo and I was so excited during the whole process. She's opened my eyes to the importance of graphics designers, we're a very important part of the whole thing.
i need you to know how powerful this design is. i knew of valley and liked a few of their songs, but i follow you on instagram and saw the post announcing the album/cover design and was in awe of how gorgeous it was. immediately i went to spotify and listened to the prerelease singles and became obsessed, loved the album when it finally came out and ordered the vinyl, and just sat and looked at the packaging forever. i saw them live in philly and as i was walking out, by some miracle, there was still some signed posters left and now i hold that poster so dear to me. its magic truly ✨

You're kindness and your overall mission to save our industry all really hit home so deep for me. i journal and scrap book a lot and my design professor used to encourage me to continue making analogue art and using it for my designs. i ended up basing my whole thesis on that. this is so amazing what you did. i aspire to reach that level of satisfaction with my own work some day. gorgeous. i wish i could afford the vinyl just to hang it up in my room.

Incredible work Kel - looks super clean. Honestly so good. How difficult it can be to layout the lyrics and credits on the insert is so real hahaha I recently did artwork and packaging for Crawlers latest record through Polydor and it was SUCH a headache to lay it all out (especially the deluxe edition) but the end result is always so worth the stress!! You must be super proud - props.

I love doing collages in my journal mostly just layering things over each other but after seeing this I really need to do something with squares,, that lyric poster is so gorgeous (the entire packaging is) but something about that physical one you showed where it looked a bit like a checker board is so beautiful. Really appreciated the insight into the process :)
As a record collector and worker at a record store I'm so so proud of you. They look gorgeous - definitely eye-catcher! And the actual record colors were perfectly picked! Work! 💕
