The ulysses probe story is TOTALLY wrong…. This was initially advertised as a GWP with the Discovery space shuttle set… it never arrived.. they claimed shipping troubles with both international freight issues, a cargo ship hijacking and restrictions in some territories still prevented fair distribution, so only a handful got out with very early orders… Later after about ten months the remaining, and now delivered probes were given away as vip rewards.. but NOT to those who had legitimately bought the shuttle and were owed and promised by Lego they would deliver them once they arrived. THAT was what pushed demand up, the conflict and controversy surrounding it, nothing else
You're assertion that set #1235 Garage Plate and Door as the first set is very, very wrong. The first sets were 700/1, 700/2, and 700/3 from 1949. 700/1 and 700/3 would be released continuously from 1949 to 1965 with inventory and box art work updates.

Great video! I think another rare on you could’ve included is lego 9570 NRG Jay. He was only on shelves for roughly a month in 2012, and his price new/sealed is insane compared to the $10 retail price tag.
See you talk about how that Boba Fett is somewhere with someone strategically not revealing their existence but in reality, what probably happened to it unfortunately which is the exact same thing that probably happened to that Bionicle mask. Quite simply while all of us who are in the Lego fan community might find this hard to believe there are people out there may not even recognize the value in one of these items and in all reality, it would not surprise me if some of those 25 masks and maybe even that Boba Fett were melted down for petty cash
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
23:37 not only that, but it’s one that I actually own!!!!! I bought that off the guy who had three of them! I wish I had 1500 at the time for all three, but I only could pay for one so I paid 500 bucks and got it. It sits sealed in my room to this day.
