Hi Paul, just wanted to thank you for posting. I am a 58yr old lady living in Dorset, UK, have just bought this phone (my first smartphone ever) having used my trusty Nokia 100 for 15 years so you can imagine has been quite a bold step forward for me!! I just wanted to compliment you on your cheerful commentary:)
I'm using this phone right now and I must say that it is pretty solid for the price. Also it is loaded with useful features such as a Peek Display feature and a front firing speaker. It's basically a budget Android iPhone XR.
Have been a Motorola customer for years. What he fails to mention is that Moto has a contract to alter AndroidOS , preventing bloatware and maximizing privacy.
That was the case back then but now when you set up a motorola phone, it will start to install games and other apps after a few minutes of the phone being set up
Nice video! I got one of these for $20 on Amazon for cyber Monday. It is locked to Tracfone which I will probably never activate but I figured I could use it as a music player for the gym or walking/running.
Decided to return my recently-purchased Moto e6 to Metro and upgrade to the Moto G7 Play. More storage, a bit better display, and don't have to deal with that micro USB that comes with the e6. The flashlight feature does come with both of these phones, and it's useful... like for seeing the keyhole on the front door at night.
Just purchased this budget phone today from Metro PCS. It was on sale for about $90, beats paying $150 full price. Seems to work nicely so far, but I think Motorola could step up their game a bit, even for their phones in this price range.
Hi DesertPortal, I too paid 80.00 through Consumer Cellular but several things don't work, including the flashlight. But it's difficult to know whom to complain - Motorola? Google? Consumer Cellular? :)
I'm sure in the year 2050 we'll be using obsolete micro USB on phones, they should be only used for charging other things besides phones. First to comment on and like
My old LG phone would announce caller when my phone rang. I could decide from across the room whether it was worth running for my phone. Is there a feature like that on Moto E6, and how do I enable it?? I've searched other videos and links and can't seem to find a tutorial.
Thanks for the walk through. I am waiting for the Moto E6 to be shipped. I like the word that it has good microphone, and key board. I did not catch how you turn on key board. I was considering a Samsung galaxy a21,yet is out of stock, and the Moto E6 is comparable per sales person, and free in my phone plan, so going with free.Needed to upgrade.
Hey Paul Tech great videos man I like watching your tech videos. I'm thinking of getting me and my woman either the Moto E6 or the Samsung Galaxy A10e on Verizon Prepaid service. Which phone will overall be better for talk and text and some UA-cam and video calling here and there? What phone would do you think would have the better call quality/reception and battery life overall for day to day use?
I believe the Moto E6 is a good affordable entry level phone. But the Galaxy A10e will be the better choice. Daily Performance along with multitasking is slightly better with the A10e. The battery is about the same on both can make it through a entire day. Display looks a little nicer on A10e as well the photo and video quality is better. Samsung one Ui has come along way since touch wiz days. Bringing some very nice customizable features to the A10e
@@PaulTech-Reviews To Paul Tech thank you for your support in helping me choose a phone I'm going to go with the Samsung Galaxy A10e for me and my woman. I like watching your tech videos. It will cost 34.00 if you buy a monthly verizon prepaid card. That's the catch. My buddy got one at Dollar Gen and got the monthly prepaid card. And waited for his monthly bill and then activated the new phone.. You can find a few new in the box on eBay etc..
I'm currently using the same phone, I got it for Christmas and I'm happy but sometimes I wish I got another phone because I don't rlly like Android but I still got a phone and I'm happy :)
No indication light. The flashing you seen in the video is from the sensor that shuts the screen off when you're using the phone to your face. It's also used to dim or brighten the screen based off the light then sensor picks up. Our eyes can't pick up the blinking, but video cameras or a phones camera can see light spectrums our eyes can't pick up.
Another excellent unboxing sir! Looks like a solid phone for elderly people and for children. Its simple yet good for the price. Is the Samsung A10e is good budget device? If so I'm thinking about getting either the A10e or the A20. The A10e cost 175 and the A20 is 250 at T_mobile.
Thanks for checking out the unboxing video. If you have the funds available I would choose the A20 it outperforms the A10e in many areas. At the same time the A10e is a good option also. Especially if you intrested in saving some money. But the A20 is definitely the device i would choose between the both of them.
@@PaulTech-Reviews ok thanks Paul! I'm on a strict budget so guess ill pick the A10e. Thank you so much for your helpful advice. Have a blessed week sir!

I'm 63 and don't need anymore than what this phone offers. Removeable battery is great for when I go back packing and want back up batteries. But can anyone tell me what one of the icons at the top is ? It's next to the WiFi icon and it's a half circle with a + inside it ?
I have this phone, just wondering if it takes some time to boot up after the motorola logo screen. Once my phone goes through the motorola screen it shows the wallpaper for about 10-15 seconds and then I can log in with my pin, should this be faster than the 10-15 seconds?
Shame the g7 play doesnt have this screen, and removable battery. I cant decide which moto to get. E6 play, plus. G7 play or power. Cant buy normal E6 in EU
