Back in 1985 I build a windshield wipers delay out of 2 lm555 for my Pontiac Grand Prix

O geeze lmao! I'm so used to working with trimpot's that i never thought of using a rotary switch with many outputs as an acurate resistance switch! I'm gunna build that lmao! Thnx. 😎👍🏻👍🏻

What about building a stereo amplifier using 1x NE555 as a master clock and 1x NE556 and 2x TL030 OP-Amps for the error amplifiers that feed the CV pins of the NE556 and 2x BD131 power transistors for the output transistors, the audio channels connect to the non inverting inputs on the TL030 OP-Amps the output going to the CV pins on the NE556 the output feeds back to the inverting side of the TL030 via a LP filter the output from the NE556 will drive the output transistors that drive the speakers, if you don't know what I am getting at then google NE556 audio amplifier.

My friend adds CD4017B to this schematic. CD4017B sends signal on its leg one after another from the first leg to the last. This way led blink one by one. Can microcontrollers do better? Sorry to ask you a question abouti microcontrollers while you have tought NE555.

    Hey mam thanks a lot
I have always found electronics as a difficult subject
but your teaching techniques are very simple and interesting

Great video and I really like these modification videos. One minor "toe may toe" vs. "toe mah toe" issue: I prefer to call the 555 "the five fifty five". - I'm old school. "Let's solder it up!" Needs to be in every project video moving forward. :)

How can this circuit be modified so that the lights pulse or fade in/fade out as opposed to just on/off blinking?

Hey Karen, I have just started watching your videos. I love them all, your explanation is very very good , but u speak very fast . Some time it becomes very difficult for me to understand. Thx

I also made a flashing led circuit using the 555. On my channel. The coolest way i like to doit is with npn transistors. Lol that is cool! Luckily i have those switches to. Really cool video! ❤😎👍🏻

Reckon it might be small enough to wire into the end of a dragon staff, and you can see that by searching @lostlighting on insta. Good pix! He uses ws2812b lighting strips, but I just use dumb leds. There's a whole spinny world of lighting out there...
