I love the idea of writing your intention for the planner… so often I forget what the purpose of a planner was, and quickly talk myself into using a different one.
I did the same! Writing down book intentions has really helped me stick with a book. And sometimes the intentions for the book changes, which is interesting and totally fine.
Your video is excellent. You are concise and articulate as you share your planner information which I like. My mind would not adjust to using that many books but it sounds great. So far I have a Hobonichi Weeks and A5 Cousin in English.
Thanks for sharing. It would be great to see an in depth review of your Plotter. I am trying a Hobonichi Cousin in 2023 after using a Filofax personal for years.
Thank you for sharing your lineup. I have finally come to terms with the traveler's notebook's standard size just not working for me, no matter how much I love the aesthetic. B6 is my jam, so I'm interested in seeing how well the commonplace planner works for you.
I feel your struggle with the Standard TN! B6 is definitely becoming one of my fave sizes - happy to hear that it works for you! I’ll definitely share an update of how the Common Planner works for me 🙌🏽
For other viewers looking for a great video, but who don't have time to look at the covers of journals and listen to lots and lots of talking: Just forward to 08:00, don't skip the video!
I'm using the Take A Note Slim in my TN for day to day time-logging, a B6 with a 2mm grid as a bullet journal for work/project planning, and a plain A6 for a daily to-do. I tried so many planners in 2022, but I got easily overwhelmed by too modular a system, so I had to be real with myself for 2023 and use only exactly what I need to function. I use a couple blank books for journals, as well. More journals that planners, pretty much as a rule haha. Gotta have a daily A5, and a monthly/weekly reflections book, and a meditation/contemplation journal, and a 5 year lol. And I can't forget a random thoughts journal for things that don't fit in the other ones. Just writing it all out seems kind of silly, but blank books don't add up as fast as planners do, fortunately.
I love that lineup! And totally agree - more journals than planners haha. I think 2023 will be my last year of experimenting with planners and I’ll probably go with a more minimal system in 2024, but who knows! Oooh the Take a Note definitely sparked my interest - enjoy!
I'm trying a hobonichi mega for the first time for my EDC. For work I'm using a nolty for the first time. Also new the tiny nolty for personal something. I dont know yet, returning use is jubun techo days for work and the A5 jibun yecho for memory keeping.
Yay, hope you enjoy the Mega! Jibun and Nolty were on my list to try out - maybe another year. Jibun looks so functional, which is perfect for a work planner, etc. Thanks for sharing!
It’s OK if you want to see flip throughs - that’s why my title and description do not include the phrase “flip through” in it. Some of my other videos include flip throughs and setups, you can always take a look at them if that’s of interest. Most of these books are personal and I didn’t feel comfortable flipping through in this video.
I’ve decided to use the Hobonichi Cousin solely for my life book. In years past, I’ve tried to use it for work and life and that’s crazy making. By November my poor planner is being got mercy 😂 This year I’ll continue bringing the chonky pain ❤️🩹 in my Cousin, but I’ve returned to FranklinCovey for work. However, I’m using the Japanese, bound one because I cannot, with the rings.
Thank you for sharing your journaling plans.
Thanks so much for watching!

Enjoy your Weeks and Cousin! Sounds like you have a system that work for you 🙌🏽💕

Hope you enjoy the Cousin! Stay tuned for an updated video on how I use my Plotter (I do have an initial video but that’s from a little while back).
What a Lovely and Interesting Line Up Carola ❤Thank you 🌟🌟
Thank you Maria!! I appreciate the kind note 💕
I’m using a hobonichi weeks regular size for the first time for everything.
Oooh enjoy! I do like the Weeks and it’s such a great fundamental book to have 🙌🏽
Yes! I'm using mine as my main planner too!

Hi
love all your explanations here! could I ask, what clear cover did you use on your hobonichi cousin avec?
Thanks! I use the Midori clear A5 cover which fits the Cousin Avec perfectly.
NO ONE WATCHES THESE JUST TO SEE COVERS. what a waste of 21 minutes!!!
I do not agree. I think the whole video was very interesting ❤

@@Plannermotherof3 me too! I enjoyed it, and I'll also watch the more in-depth vids on each one.

Very interesting! I love the chonky look but haven’t been able to get mine to be quite thick yet haha. Enjoy!
