Another quick tip on how to find the key/note your sample is:
- right click the waveform of the sample
- choose edit in audio editor
- go to the flag/marker (next to the wrench)
- choose detect pitch regions

Couple Questions how did u know to octave up instead of down? when do u octave down? and what does add to key & Enable main pitch mean? and last I use a lot of chords so how do I know the key of my song?(so if I just jump right on fl and start making music the key of my song should always be C?

I don't understand why FL handles this so much different than other programs. Where they just load the note where it goes. Instead of defaulting everything to C and making you manually do it. It is my biggest complaint about FL.
