- The eighth EP of this notorious solo act.
With so many records made by this entity, it is still quite hard to find in his colossal discography a few of them that do not meet the quality we are used. This is one of the situations where the sheer quantity does not hamper the quality of the output in any way.
This record might be the one that fits better on a more standardised lo-fi/atmospheric branch of black metal with very few post metal detours, ending on a gorgeous instrumental guitar track.
It is definitely great when you know an artist cannot fail your higher expectations, and this is one of the few we can say that.

i get that they can be nice to have, but you don't need lyrics to know it's black metal idk what you mean by the first part. plenty of classic bm bands rarely release lyrics, i think they like to add to the mystery haha
I understand there's a language barrier that won't allow you to understand properly everything I'm about to write but I'll try: Black metal is probably the most adaptive and shapeshifting genre in metal, because of its construction that allows it to implement other musical elements from many different non-metal genres. What "defines" a genre as black metal is mostly the drums (influenced by punk - the too-pah-too-pah drumming if y'know what I mean), the high-pitched screams and the guitar textures. Everything else after the '90s is either new-school or adaptations/variations of the genre
Him being non-binary might be opposed to some people's political agenda or overall beliefs but it has nothing to do with the music he composes. I wish I had the means and discipline to write songs like these, I'd suck a dick in no time, I tell you that.
Traditional black metal lyrics always had a vague sense of "anti-". Anti-religion? Anti-social? Anti-whatever, hence the connection with the occult and the whole "Satanic vibe", because it was a form of revolutionary expression for this extreme genre of music. That genre evolved and moved to new grounds. There are bands, dating back from the '90s whose lyrics refer to Tolkien, winter, fantasy, literature, are influenced by literature or poetry etc etc. The lyrics definitely don't define the genre.
If you can't vibe with it because the lyrics are written in a conlang and it'd be better for you to understand the lyrics to vibe accordingly, that's fine, it's understandable. But that's also subjective and has nothing to do with his gender or whether it's "trve black metal" or not. Hope this clears the air a little bit; less bothering and more vibing bro, it provides more constructive criticism that way, just saying
