IP addresses are your device's "phone number" that allows them to be found & addressed by other IP devices and users. With P2P camera assignment & initialization, most times you will not need to directly access them, but for more advanced installations, you can manually add cameras by adding their IP addresses to each channel, particularly useful for remote or mirror backup to a recorder or Cloud service.
