    Hello Nnena, First of all thanks for the video! Second, I really do not understand the difference between a 60 and 120cr Master. At this moment i am a Belgian Bachelor student considering starting a Master in energy engineering in sweden and it is available in 60 and 120cr. But what is the difference in diploma? I have already asked a few people this question and outside the time, the number of subjects and the number of credits I always get the answer there is no difference, but why are there 2 types if there is no difference in diploma?

      60 credits is like 4 courses _ 1 year with 2 semesters.120 credits is 8 courses with 4 semesters for 2 years (at least for my course that's how it was) but I strongly advice for a 120 credit course if you are considering Sweden.

      @NnennaRG  2 роки тому

      Thanks Navier, just a clarification, 60 credits may be more than 4 courses depending on the credits of the courses you choose.
      There is no difference in diploma. You just have more time and courses, your thesis is 30credits for a 120 credit programme. I think it is 15 credits for a 60 credits programme.
      For other factors I have explained in the video.

    Hello Nnena, Since I stumbled on your channel I have been glued to it cause you provide very useful info. My wife has applied and waiting for admission. I need information as it relates to a spouse working while the other is schooling (immigration) in relation to this security number you just informed us of here. Any detail will be useful. Thank you.

      Hi Shona, if your spouse is applying for a residence permit, you can apply for a residence permit for same period as your spouse, and with the permit, you can work. You can read more here www.migrationsverket.se/English/Private-individuals/Studying-and-researching-in-Sweden/Higher-education/Permits-for-family-members.html . You can also contact the Swedish migration directly if you need more clarification. All the best.

    Can I remain in Sweden after studies, even after the 1 yr duration?

    • @NnennaRG
      @NnennaRG  2 роки тому

      Hi Yomzy, you have 1year after studies to look for a job. You are expected to get a job during this period which will allow you remain. I do not think the one year can be extended if you do not get a job

      Hi Tarun, I do not have experience complete information regarding spousal visa. But there are some Swedish residence permit/work visa groups on fb that may have better suggestion or answers to this. All the best.

    Thanks for the valid points, however, besides these listed reasons, does the 1 year masters have any negative effect on future choices, say on further studies (ph.d) or the job market?

    • @NnennaRG
      @NnennaRG  2 роки тому

      Hi Prince, the requirement is that you completed a bachelors degree, nothing is clearly stated about grades on the university admissions website. But it may be come to play for some high ranking courses/if you are applying to a scholarship.
