I thought NECA released a RoboCop 2 Cain figure 🤔 but that's the good smiley model kit I have that ..well it's nice to know it scales with NECA RoboCop figure
I’ve been looking at this Cain, but couldn’t justify the price until seeing this video. I just got my Mafex damaged Robocop and this will go great with it. Great video
Since Mafex is reissuing both their first 2 releases of Robocop from the first and second movie I may have to pick this guy up now. All I need is to find a cop car that scales well with the Mafex
I'm so mad...I didn't even know this existed in this scale and now it's sold out everywhere in Europe 😂..I have the same Neca ED-209 and Robo too, would have been perfect. Awesome review and SPECTACULAR paint job..even if it has made me jealous 😜
Robocop 1 nad 2 are my most personal favorites of the cult classic films. after peter Weller stopped being Robocop. I stopped watching. Mr. Weller was born to play Robocop!!
There’s a reason why this figure never existed. The person who helped build it wanted to make a robot that no one would want to try to replicate because it was too complicated.
@@Cobra-gl7or testers, graphite, gunmetal gray in a spray can and then I used either testers silver but then you’re gonna have to darken it after it’s done drying or use Krylon machine metal. The paint will go bad very quickly. And it will go dull
Great job on this kit. What is your recommended paint process? Prime/Seal and what colors did you use for the paint process. Mine should arrive this week and looking to get some paints.
OK, so this is gonna be kind of long. You’re gonna go and get yourself some testers paint used for models are used graphite gunmetal, gray and silver. You’re going to get yourself a true chrome marker which is called true chrome you’re also going to get yourself some model super glue that fills in seams. The parts will be two different colors on the spruce when you pull it out of the box one a darker color and the other one a silver color. I’m sure you can guess which colors go where you need to prop up these pieces and spray them from both sides once all pieces are painted if you have access to a dehumidifier put the pieces in a room and set the dehumidifier down to 30 this will ensure a permanent bond with the paint to the plastic . Let it sit for at least 15 hours afterwards you can start cutting out the pieces and following the instructions then there’s other steps if you want to make him look more weathered or battle damaged.
That specific shot used for the screen was actually when Cain broke his (well, I guess ex) girlfriend's neck after she tried to be sensual with his screwed up body instead of supplying him with drugs.
Now that I have this in hand I can put the scale issue to bed. With the head fully flush with the torso the full-size prop is 31.75" from the top of the head to the bottom of the Nuke hatch. I measured the same span on the model with calipers and got 2.90" (To make sure the head was perfectly flush I left out the neck joint parts and attached the head with Blue Tack.) The scale of this model is 1/10.948.
Yes, 1/10 scale. But his head can lift up and in the movie he could be 3 feet taller if he chose to be. That’s the cool thing about that robot he was able to condense himself or make himself bigger.
@@jameshopkins5702 Basically 1/11. But I want 1/12 and you want 1/10 so we both almost got what we wanted. I'll take it over a $1,500 statue or off-model 1/18 toy any day.
@@toddjones1480 if you want one 12th scale, then you should go with hyia I think they make that scale it’s much bigger than 1/11 scale for sure because the one 12th scale looks tiny standing next to it
Yes, I do assemble them and paint them and also put all of the details that came from the original armatures in the movie on them. You can find me on Facebook at man-made monsters by JH customs Or Instagram one_drop_Collectibles
good review but just wanted to correct you , this is not a toy its a possible model kit like Frame Arms, Gundam, etc , if you treat a model kit like a toy it will break.
I actually this model kits pretty durable when it comes to the arms, the body movement, the legs . Once everything is glued together, and you fill in all the seams, it definitely feels more like a figure. you can do several different posing for photographs. The only thing you have to be cautious with is the tubing in the middle of the body. It feels more like a figure than does a model.
The third one was terrible. They need to bring him back. Peter Weller is old but robocop didn't run. I mean why couldn't he come back one more time for fans like me. He's my favorite too!!!
In the case of _Robocop 3,_ Weller was already in a different film at the time. Also let's give some credit to the third film's director for not being afraid to admit that the film was so bad it was good at best.
@@toddjones1480 cool I actually had this thing in hand I just sold it. It was never 8 inches. You can lower him to be 8 inches which would make him almost just as tall as RoboCop any and all movie shots is what I used to get this thing proper even on the box he’s in that stance. Like I said before he is 1/10 scale.

Can you make Halloween ends or chucky series figure if you want?
Yeah, I can do a Halloween review in a Chucky review on figure’s. I have a bunch of different ones even the remake.
Ok👍
ITS MEEEEEEEE
first person i seen that finnished it
That’s because it takes about 27 hours to complete it properly
Amazing! Does this kit come fully assembled and painted or do you need to do that yourself?
No, you have to paint the kit and assemble it. It’s a big job around 17 hours to do it properly.

I can't even get an idea of how big this thing is because no one who has it in hand has any idea how to pose the legs.
