"Last Easter Night" was April, 2021. When Soojin was removed from Last Dance and we never saw her again.
Soyeon had mentioned about her intentions while writing this song. She said that while she has never felt about taking revenge (which may seem false due to certain accuser of the pat), she made this song while thinking about what she would do if she ever felt the need to take revenge. Hence, there are lines like "your wound is the only medicine for me" or "I might suffer but I will make sure that you suffer as well". Also, the MV was released exactly on 100th day since Soojin's solo debut and was pushed back specifically till this date for that reason.
the birthday thing is a pretty big nod cause that date isn’t significant to gidle otherwise! also, the other girls birthdays are right beside hers. plus, there was also 6 finger prints and if u didn’t notice shuhua played TWO characters so in one scene (in the hallway) we saw SIX girls (2 played by shuhua) so this is a prettyyyy big and bold nod towards soojin and we can assume that the arson victim character was her portraying soojin.
also, easter represents resurrection. so another theory is that she was resurrected and went back in time but this time she knew how to get back at her attacker. (which i feel also falls in line with the soojin reference theory, soojin’s career also had a sort of resurrection and she got her “revenge” by coming back so strongly)
so the events being out of sequence makes sense, some is from her past before resurrection and some is after resurrection

the yuqi scene is not blood on the table, it's her guitar.
the next scene she happily in her room playing a new guitar, because they got the revenge.
To me, it's a revenge for soojin.
Shuhua play double characters, the one who got burned and recover in the end is soojin.
I love (G)i-dle soooooo much!! They don't forget what had happened, and they shout out their revenge again and again!
I'm so waiting for the contract-now's over, i firmly believe we'll have a big welcome back for soojin!!
I have watched this a few times now, and my feeling is that the 'hand' that attacks Shuhua is us, the public. Non-Detective Shuhua (always in white) is a placeholder for Soojin being attacked. We see Shuhua (as Soojin) helpless on the floor surrounded by the controversies like the cigarette butts, photos, and what possibly could be a yearbook under a glass of alcohol. All the girls are trying to help her out by defending her or helping fight back, but feeling the pressure by it.
Also, I believe Easter is late-March to mid-April, which is both the time frame Cube severed Soojin's contract as well as I-Dle's release of Tomboy.
At roughly 1:31 in the video there are four birthdays on the paper (under the scribble/signature): Minnie, Yuqi, Shuhua and...Soojin. My OT6 heart cant handle this.

Something must have happened after Soojin left. A new self-confidence, a new strength from G-IDLE or something like that. I don't think the "old" Cube would have allowed controversial songs like Wife. Or MVs like this one. But I could also be totally wrong, it wouldn't be the first time 😉
As far as I know G IDLE has full creative control nowadays. They have their own team and CUBE only finances their projects and PARTIALLY finances their video. Apparently, the girls went 50/50 on the SUPER LADY video with them. It cost over a billion Won.

Cube used to have a AR lead, after Tomboy, Soyeon is now full producer of group and was given a full team and no longer needs to give powerpoint presentations. Their AR lead then left the company lmao

In this case, the person who was sort of (G) Idle’s “handler” who had less control of them from the beginning than typical (thanks to the commercial success of their self-produced Latata) but basically was totally cut out in the “I Never Die” era as Soyeon proved to be able to engineer a comeback post-scandal and that person is now no longer at the company - with (G) Idle having little to no interference from Cube execs now who are essentially just investors and distributors.
My theory is that this is why their success has only continued to increase - because their vision is being able to be executed without corporate watering-down. And also that maybe the departure of Soojin made them a bit angrier and less accommodating hence the more girlboss tone…
Evidence of this is that this is more similar to a Bibi video, who is someone who also has a lot of freedom because Fheel Good and its CEO Tiger JK has full faith in her.
You can see that Last Easter night happend on April 3rd. Which is last date that Soojin was active as G idle member on the Easter Night of 2021 on April 3rd
If this is referenced to Soojin, they're bold, brave and super genius! Cube would never allow their actual songs and videos to release if there wasn't something behind the scenes.
Idle are taking over people, easy as that. They're setting the rules and boundaries and by doing that overstepping and ignoring everything and just DOING, but in a good way! 🎉🎉🎉
I'll just say one thing.
Imagine this situation with Soojin and Cube. I know it might be conspiracy theories in my head, but maybe this MV isn't just a MV but a way for them to tell a bit of what happened in Soojin's situation.
In addition to that in the 1:31 of the MV it has even included Soojin's Birthday.
Things like Miyeon (Cube) is interrogating and even though the telegraph is showing that Minnie (the person who accused Soojin) is lying. Miyeon looks to the side.
The fact that Shuhua (playing Soojin) bit the hand of the one who accused her.
The fact that there are 6 people in the corridor and not 5.. The fact that the Shuhua (Soojin) was burned 😅
A lot of it makes sense 😂

With Soojin’s birthday being referenced.. 1 killed (Soojin) 1 hurt (ShuHua) as they may have been the closest IRL I believe the person being killed is the person that forced her out of the group. They have made a point to reference Soojin in most videos since her departure. Clearly the girls continue to miss her daily. Just my opinion.
Success is the best revenge and Soojin and the girls got that.

Also, I have not seen many youtubers do an in-depth analysis of the MV and lines like you have. Thank you for not just reacting to it but also putting in soo much effort to try and analyse it as well. Here are some interpretations by me as well:
1. The word "meaningless" that was marked in the clipping might be due to the fact that even if the accusers were to say meaningless stuff, the people try to make a meaning out of it. (The accusations against soojin were meaningless but people still tried to find meaning in that accusations and hurt her)
2. The scenes where shuhua is removing the bandages and is lying on the floor are VERY similar to the scenes from Soojin's debut teaser as well
3. All the members had a specific role to fulfill during the revenge. Soyeon was the one in-charge of hiding the body and remove the footage cause she knew the place inside-out. Miyeon was in-charge of burying the case as she was an inspector. Minnie was probably in-charge of using her influence and trying to hide the case as well. Yuqi and Shuhua were just best friends and Yuqi was always trying to protect or help Shuhua in one way or another.

Another small theory about the lying detector! The person accusing Soojin was lying but Soojin was kicked anyway! Maybe it also indicates that even tho ppl knew she was lying they chose to look away and make Soojin the scapegoat anyway!
And Soyeons hand gesture at the end looks like how Soojin wiped her lipstick for Put It Straight Nightmaor Ver on Queendom!
For some reason, Yuqi playing the guitar in the burning room reminded me of the legend of Nero fiddling in his madness as Rome burned, supposedly after he started the fire, because he wanted to bypass the Senate, and rebuild Rome to his liking.

This is one of the best theory’s I found
THEORY : This is an abuse-murder related story. Each girls have a character to play. I believe
Minnie is a business woman
Yuqi is an aspiring musician
Miyeon is a detective, who happens to be on that hotel that day
Soyeon is a housekeeping staff at the hotel
Shuhua is playing two roles. The one in the white dress is in an abusive relationship. The other one is an investigator who is watching this story unfold along with us audience or the her future self looking back at that last easter night. (on a side note, we believe the girl in abusive relationship is a direct reference to Soojin.. At 1:31 you can see Soojin's birth date written on the poster, also at the hallway scene there are 6 of them...)
Let's get to the story,
The main character Shuhua was in an abusive relationship. The blood on her lips at the first shot indicates this. MInnie and Yuqi are neighbours of this Shuhua and they have known about the abuse she is going through. Soyeon knew about this too. Her looking through the keyhole indicates this. On last easter night, the man tries to attack her again, and she fights back. All the women in the hallway witnessed this and decides to help her. Yuqi hits him with the guitar. Miyeon stabs with the pen. Soyeon pours the gasoline/petrol. Minnie lits it using the matchbox she had. This is the blast we see at the very beginning of the mv. And they all get rid of the evidence of the murder. We can see Soyeon dragging the trash bag through the hallway , at 0:46 you can see Soyeon is inside a cctv room. She deletes the footage of anything related to that murder. Miyeon, who is also a detective takes charge of the investigation and cover it up as a fire accident. At the interrogation scene with Minnie, Miyeon drops her pen, the same one which she used to stab the abuser. This is an indication that she dealt with the legal proceedings and closed the case. The news paper cuttings on the investigation room of Shuhua references to several fire accidents including Mumbai Tardeo (Kamala building) fire which resulted in the death of 6 people and the other title State has become a tinder box etc.
After that, we can see them dance in joy... They killed the abuser and saved the victim. Shuhua, the investigator who unfolded this case learns the truth but decides to keep it a fire accident as the abuser deserved it all.
In the end we see the victim Shuhua taking off her bandages. This is to show that she has overcome the wounds and scars of her previous abusive relationship. She is free now... SHE GOT THE REVENGE!!!!!!
Whoever wrote this I agree so much and I also feel that it could have something to do with Soojin and the person who attacked who without evidence.

Out of sequence I think you are so right. 1 killed and 1 hurt so they covered up the murder of the guy as an explosion and Shuhua was hurt but not in the explosion and Mieyon is covering for Minnie in the interrogation and that is why she is looking distressed in the elevator afterwards. That is my theory anyhow 😊 but it didn't occur to me before you said that we were watching out of sequence.

I want to point out something I got from this MV. Some you might heard or read or interpreted it by yourself already. Let's make it light and fun.
- The story is about an investigator who is working on a case of the explosion that led to a tragic death of a guy and a woman who survived the explosion which in fact was the one who murdered him due to a toxic and abusive relationship with the help from four other women. One business woman, one musician, one police and one housekeeper.
- Shuhua is clearly playing 2 characters. One is the investigator and one is the victim. The victim seems to wearing something similar to Soojin's Black Forest video so it might or might not be Soojin that Shuhua's playing. During the scene where the victim is lying on the floor, next to her was the used cigarettes which was one of Soojin's allegation that she smokes cigarette before (Which she did admit that she had tried it once but she didn't like it)
- The police is in fact was involved in the scene as well but due to her duty, she has to go back to work immediately right after the murder and act like nothing happened. It's the same during the dark era of (G)I-DLE where Miyeon was forced to go back to work immediately right after Soojin's allegation start and even tho she knew everything, she can't say or do anything at all.
- The business woman started the scene by arrived home and try to relax may or may not interpreted to be Minnie during dark era where she went back to Thailand to be with her family.
- The housekeeper helped destroy the evidences including the business woman's match on the staircase and the body. might or might not telling the story of Soyeon during the dark era where she was working behind the scene mostly.
- The musician iss singing and dancing while the room is on fire might or might not telling the story of Yuqi during dark era where she released her solo single album and went to participate in Stage Boom. Everything was on fire but she had to smile and laugh.
- All the women saw the victim got abused through peepholes might or might not means the girls saw what happened to Soojin during dark era but can't do anything. Same as watching something from peephole, you can see what's on the other side but you can't do anything at all.
- The investigator was not present during the murder and has to go through it later might or might not telling Shuhua's story during dark era where she just disappeared from the media to practice and improving her skills. It's like she was not there but in fact she's always there. This might be the reason why they chosen Shuhua to play two characters. It's like she's not ther but she's actually always there.
- So what exactly is the revenge? I think the real revenge is that (G)I-DLE is back and stronger than ever. The real revenge is that Soojin is back and stronger than ever. Same as the victim at the end when she removed the gauze to reveal that she's actually doing fine. There is no visible pain. She looks sad and lonely but she's fine. That might be the real revenge of this whole story.
