CLP625 has Dual/Duo (to play various instruments at the same time) and Reverb. There is no mention of it for the YDP164: does this mean that these features are absent from that piano?
Another great review Rudi. Keep up the great work everyone at BM supporting all musicians throughout Canberra/ Queanbeyan and more. We love supporting other local business too.
Great detailed review, I have been doubting about Arius 164 and this one... after your review it seems like that I am more convinced to spend some extra and choose the 625. Thanks!
Its too expensive. I wanted to buy a dp for below 1000 euro. But the p515 cost 1500 euro. But at this case i think i should invest a little more for the 625. Its already at the limit of what my wallet allows me to buy
@@alpay389 I purchased the 625 PE (the black glossy one) it looks beautiful and it plays wonderfully. I had a budget around 1000euro as well, but I did not regret throwing couple of hundreds euro more for this beauty!
I'm a beginner and I have to choose between Yamaha YDP 164 or CLP 625. I'm choosing between these 2 because of the synthetic ivory and both are less than 1k in price. So, YDP is the most expensive in the YDP series for beginners, CLP is the entry level of the Clavinova which is made for more than just beginners. So, what to choose? Thanks =)
No, you do not need the app. You can do everything that you can do in the app on the piano's interface with a combination of pressing some buttons. The app just makes it easier to navigate. I am getting this piano, but I am not going to use the app, cause the app is only made for IOS devices.
Lommalei the app is amazing u can make it have a bright mellow or deep song u can have recital mode and u can make it sound like a borsenrdorfer imperial grand
He doesn't actually play anything anyone would know. He tends to just make it up most of the time, so you can call the piece whatever you want. I think I will call it 'Doug.' Cheers - Murdoch
I was about to order YDP164 , but ordered CLP625 after watching your video.. Thanks a lot..😊

Hi, great and detailed review! What do you think about the ydp-164 vs this clp-625?? the difference worth the extra money? thanks!
not sure the diffrence, but I purchased the CLP 625, I am lovin' it!
between this Yamaha or Roland F140r, what do you think?
Can we transfer audio to the PC somehow?
Which is better between Clp 535 and 625?
does the clp625 have the same functions of the clp 635?
will it feel like piano keys
Great news. Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE review the Clp695gp soon? Thank you.

It is very nice, but it can‘t touch the Clp-685 in my opinion. I got a. Clp-685, it‘s sounds like a Steinway 8‘. (Not kidding).
Can someone tell me what piece is he playing ?
