I've never seen this episode before. Seen all the others, though! What a brilliant, fantastic series. Nothing will ever be as good. I loved the characters, storylines and the direction of it. It was so of its time and yet somehow timeless!! Am going to start watching through all the old episodes again.
Prisoner cell block h is a programme I remember very well and I used to watch many years ago and has also been one of my favourites . After missing it for many years I started watching it when it reappeared on TV on 5 select from the beginning . I have watched episodes 1 to 4 so far with many more episodes to come until the very last episode when officer Ferguson turned from a prison officer to a prisoner. She was an absolute monster
Thank you very much for uploading episode 5, unlike all the other channels who claim to have every single episode but mysteriously episode 5 and several others are unavailable. I shall be subscribing and watching episodes from your channel from now on, also a bonus is that the episodes from your channel you can actually see them a lot more clearer having brightened them up! Well done and thank you for the excellent content of one of the best programmes ever!
The other channel had them all up, but a certain company reported them all for breach of copyright, and hundreds were taken down, they spent many hours reposting these episodes again , so we could all enjoy them.
Ugh, that's one nasty piece of work. How Mum is the daughter of that spiteful, selfish, self-centred snob is unbelievable! I'd like to see what Bea'd make her into after she had a go at her.
Poor Meg she just lost her husband and they want . Her to lose her job and they don't know what's wrong with her anyone would be a mess if that happened to your husband .🤔 . It's like the saying kick them while they're down.🤔 that happens in Real Life to 😥😥
In real life, Meg should have been put on mandatory leave of absence. Not for punishment but for her own mental health. She isn't capable of doing her job correctly at this time.
Lorraine couldn't be more different to Madge Bishop in Neighbours. Also the actress who played Helen Smart, Caroline Gilmer also played a character in Neighbours, cant think of the character's name. But the character married Lou Carpenter played by Tom Pierce who was Bea's love interest Ken something or other.
Miss officer yates is willie beacham may best friend in later episodes they reuse actors quite a lot even the nurse is hazel Kent it later episodes and mums daughter is also reb keans mum. I love 💖 pcbh I’ve watched it from the first episode till the last over 7 times I must admit that some episodes are a bit boring but there’s always something happening. Love 💕 from London uk 🇬🇧. 👮🏼♀️👮🏻♂️queen b👩🏼🦰❤
Was this show a political statement about Northern Ireland? Hunger strikes...same as the IRA. And the name 'Cell Block H' sounds eerily like "H Block" where the worst of the worst IRA prisoners were kept.
And here we get the first example of Lizzie's dipso habits lol. I'm actually no fan of the Lizzie character personally. But when she's on the falling down pop she's really funny.
Mum ( Mary ward ) passed away in July 2021, she was 106 years old.
She lived an incredibly long life, good for her❤
I am 116.
In The U.S.
God Bless Mary Ward "Mum" you made alot of people happy even over here in The U.S.
@@williammarsh4321I'm 117

I've just watched all 692 episodes. It took about 10 months.
@@ajs41 10 months Good Lord. I can binge watch the lot in 2-3 months tops. I'm on my 5th run through now.
@@frankbrodie5168 I didn't have time to watch more than 3 episodes each day. But I've been though once again since then.

Mum's dream sequence is a work of art! First episodes--brilliant!
Mum's daughter is Madge Bishop before her voice broke. Lizzie Birdsworth is absolute Prisoner gold!

@@acesigma06if that is the case, then why is episode 5 not among them?
If I had a nickel for every time Lynn warner says “I’m innocent”, I would be a millionaire lol
Lmao, I legit thought Lynne and Karen only started whingeing later on. Surprised to find it's actually from day 1. Crikey!
And all that crying! She could drown herself in an ocean of her own tears. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂.
@@bennz5610 Lynn WAS innocent of this crime she was accused of. It was Mrs Bentley that put her son in the little hole and she blamed Lynn for it
Especially since no one believes her
She said “I’m innocent” exactly 47 times
You would have £47 now😳
I love how in the early episodes the Prisoners and staff just wander all over the prison at will.
It was beautifully shot. It makes me think of Rose's dream at the end of James Cameron's "Titanic", where she's greeted by the passengers.
They all seem pretty ferel in the first few episodes until u get to know them!! 😂 😂
Ugh, that's one nasty piece of work. How Mum is the daughter of that spiteful, selfish, self-centred snob is unbelievable! I'd like to see what Bea'd make her into after she had a go at her.
Bloody Bea would bring her in line - the bitch.
How come all the other channels have this episode as private?? Well anyway, you just earned a new sub 🌹🌹🌹
Sadly a certain person has been claiming episodes so some channels needs to put them on private to stop their channels from shutting down.
@@reorebornwhose the certain person?
Love Lizzie she cracks me up😃
Meg's all badass now. This show is so addictive.
She had a rough life as her husband was a jerk but kept it to herself. Does anyone remember when Leg was put in jail herself there.
Mum's grand daughter serving Dorothy Gale real ness.
She looks a he'll lot older than 13.
16:51 - I love Vera :)
Thanks for sharing!!
Wait! Isn’t that nurse the same person playing an alcoholic inmate later?
Yes - it's Hazel Kent!
YES
And Officer Yates turns up as Willie Beecham in the days of Joan The Freak Ferguson.
Thanks for this! ; )
OMG Marilyn's blue eyeshadow!
great episode, i really like how you cleaned the episode up to make it look a lot lighter.
Wish l had a mum like mum❤
I love mum wish she was mine her daughter is a 🐖
Lizzie Birdsworth the only prisoner with a string quartet in her cell?!
Marilyn! No lagging!
The sister in this episode, eventually in later beomes inmate Hazel
Whose death traumatised me as a 10 year old, secretly watching in my bedroom late at night 🥺
I would have liked to have walked through that prison set up in the Grundy studios.
Madge from neighbours ❤
Harold is in it later on too as is most of the other early cast from Neighbours and Home & Away
Lynn and ponytail s reminded me of school

So true
The chases are the best comedy ever
Now you have me remembering The Benny Hill Show, and that goofy music. My family loved watching him here in America.
❤Ed cell block h wish they, d bring it back
11:05 at least everyone knows where the draughts are haha.
Does Lynne not realize how long it will take to dig through all that stony grou howhow ound? A couple of weeks at least.
I have a couple of dogs that could do it in a day.
Miss the opening. When did the song at the beginning and end start?
Judith-Anne's off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz!
33.50: can't imagine Meg slapping anyone around but you can never tell with people.
I think a major problem with the brightness is it's gone passed the legal ranges and isnt broadcast safe
I like the brightening up episodes ... Also love and appreciate you putting all episodes on here

Just remembered the characters name in Neighbours. It was Cheryl Stark, later Cheryl Carpenter.
Wheres my tipple lizzy
Shame that some are. No. Longer here😢
This is the only episode where the Ansett logo includes the byline: 'Airlines of Australia'
I really hate Mum's daughter, at least her son in-law and grandchildren are kind
Just wait... You will get sick of Judith Ann and her boring/ selfish ways eventually
And her daughter has terrible taste in kitchen curtains! 😂😂😂
Travers: PTSD
12:40 poor Lizzy lol
Mum will be a great help to her granddaughter in time
Love lizzie she's like a naughty little school girl haha
riot...now dance ... (lol)
Mum seems such a nice, dignified lady. I don't like her daughter, Lorraine, though!
This is the best women's prison ever

Why’s the colour weird
Lorna is in it till the end says a few words.
Mum's granddaughter looks like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz.....
Down the yellow brick road...
Looks like a boy in a wig.
I thought Karen Travers was a Roman Catholic? A Roman Catholic Priest does not wear his clerical collar in this fashion.
Terrible quality in future don't fiddle with the brightness
Don't be so obnoxious and rude, you entitled prat.
Why does Maralyn need the pill? Don't they have condoms in Australia?
Karen TRavis, you are beautiful. Watched all 692 episodes and you are the most beautiful person on the show. You give me impure thoughts.
bad rerendering. sound is out of sync and colours way too bright and its out of focus.
Was this show a political statement about Northern Ireland? Hunger strikes...same as the IRA. And the name 'Cell Block H' sounds eerily like "H Block" where the worst of the worst IRA prisoners were kept.
No. Hunger strikes have occurred in prisons long before the formation of the IRA. What a strange comment.
So many great actresses in this show yet the male actors are atrocious, its like they grabbed the first guys they found on the street
The guys weren't important. It was always all about the women.
And here we get the first example of Lizzie's dipso habits lol. I'm actually no fan of the Lizzie character personally. But when she's on the falling down pop she's really funny.
If you enjoy the comedy side of Lizzie, wait till you reach the episode where she tries to sit on the bean bag.
I'm sorry guys, but I find the character of "Mum" full of self pity and irritating
