do you think this game is gonna live up when it costs money? i love the game, i have 35 hours since the playtest droped but i dont know if the game has enough marketing to get players when it releases
Honestly, I've tried Dark n Darker when it released on steam. I'm probably just shit at the game, but I could not for the life of me survive a player encounter. Played it for 20 hours and I have 1 player kill to my name XD. Tried the playtest for DB, felt so much better playing it. faster combat, less tanky mobs, and the PvP felt mor balanced. After playing 8 hours i already 10 player kills playing as a Swordmaster. Just feels more casual friendly and the tutorial does help new players unlike DnD that has none. Really does hope this game takes off and get a good and stable player base. I'd definitely spend money on this one.
Souls games were pretty niche, until Elden Ring came along though. So actually making things more casual will probably be better for retaining player base. Also, DB has lower skill floor, sure, but the skill ceiling is higher as well imo.
@@Delirium-zn8ze tax is nowhere near the tax for using auction house .. auction house is only for high tier gear with good rolls that a worth a decent bit .. never sell basic gear on there you will be loosing gold
For new players i recommend to craft 3 legendary items from the start of the game (crown, neacle and sword). With them you can go in high roller (its really cheap to craft them) The coolest thing is that you can add unique set effects to these items and collecting a complete unique set becomes much easier.

Uh.. how exactly do you 'USE' those mithril dice? I haven't found out how to do that yet.. and right clicking doesn't work.
