I feel bad for Selene. Her whole story is tragic. She lost her family and was turned and manipulated by a man who she has her father figure who turned into a vampire and made into a death dealer and lie to her that another species killed her and she spent 600 years killing them for a crime she didn't commit. When she finally found true love it wasn't meant to last. Still an amazing character.
The power of the script in the death of Michael was very noticeable, its outcome was very incoherent, Michael Corvin the first hybrid, the one who supposedly had the best potential to have no limits, killed by a couple of common lycans, besides that it does not make sense as It could be that Selene took less than a day to find Eve and with Michael it took so long, obviously Michael should also be able to see through his daughter's eyes so he had to be smart and stay in one place until they get to him, they must have found him making Michael go to the first place he remembers and that place was the pier and that's where they had to find him, it's impossible that they were so useless not finding him quickly, that ability to to see through the eyes they completely forgot it in blood wars, his pathetic death grabbed his hair, it was noted that there were problems with the actor with the number of scripts with him, in the awakening it was the fault of len wiseman but already in blood wars I don't know if it was what they offered him the role and he rejected it or they didn't even do it directly, because recently Scott speedman came out to say that he would love to participate in another film therefore everything was very confused .
@@Z-KillerEditsyeah I remembered that scot at first love the idea of being in the underworld awakening but then when he got the script he was barely in it so it a let down for him, and in blood wars it didn’t made a bit of sense as to where her daughter went and why they didn’t continue the story of where it left off in awakening, like i thought it was going to be about selena and eve finding michael, as it was implied when it ended right there in the awakening
@@whereweare9494 the writers for awakening did a somewhat good job with setting up Michael’s return but the new writers for blood wars tried to completely take Michael out of the picture and replace him for David, David was the center of the entire movie of blood wars and ONLY touched on Michael at the end and killing him off screen which was a huge mistake that they knew they made when they got bad reviews and didn’t do well.

I always thought that even if michael’s blood ran dry, since he was the hybrid of his lineage so with more blood from selene would have revived him but the writers as you say didn’t do that so it left bad reviews about the movie in general
@@whereweare9494 and you could tell that they didn’t really watch the previous movies as Michael’s heart was basically destroyed and all he needed was blood to come back so idk why they went with that, and it’s not just Michael’s problem either we have lycans eyes being bright blue in human form then black in lycan form but in blood war they were lazy and just went with black on both. I can understand awakening because quint was supposed have black eyes in human and yellow in full Lycan form but the rest was lazy. They reused scenes and voice sounds, fights were kinda good but still lacking heart, they could’ve done better especially with blood wars.

Selene and Michael deserve a better ending together. That bloodwars last of michael in a bottle bs was lame. After everything Selene and Michael been thru hopefully they get a better ending because he can still be alive.
