It's so heartbreaking to watch Red Velvet who were clearly still in the early stages of dealing with grief. I noticed that Joy held Yeri the entire time they were on the stage, and that all of the girls were feeling the hurt of losing someone but putting on a brave face. I am sure the fans being so happy and excited was both a reminder of how their job can bring happiness, but also must've contrasted so much with how they felt inside. They showed a lot of strength to perform that night.

Being one of Jonghyun closest friend, Yeri was very broken down, and it is worsen when people attacked her unnessecarily for 'disrespect' at Jonghyun's funeral when all she wanted was to look at him for the last time. I want to explain in detail, but it would be long and I do not want this issue to be risen up again. I know I'm late for two years, but hope this helps.
I think Joy is pretty amazing. Holding onto Yeri, yet you can plainly see her eyes are a bit swollen and her face has that bruised look of pain. She is holding it together admirably while being a good friend. Yet no one has commented or noticed. Isn't that life for you, the one's that should be noticed, aren't.

bts and rv have been my fav groups for years.. and not trying to be delusional or anything but these two groups have spent new years countdown side by side for straight 3 yrs already, and numerous events tgt. its just sad my fav grps can even be friendly with eo like, doing high five or smtg beside that formal awkward bow, bcs fangirls will go mad (either shipping or hating) sighs 😧

Wow watching this video again and I can't believe how little people notice. Of course Yeri is devastated, she is so young and lost a good friend. 😔 But the rest of the girls are also suffering. Irene looks like she's about to cry and faint, Wendy is trying not to cry while holding up Irene, Seulgi is trying so hard to smile and not fall apart and poor Joy is looking shocked and scared about the audience's reaction to all their sadness, WHILE HOLDING ONTO YERI AND LOOKING AFTER HER. All of them are suffering and I am so proud of this group for being this strong and honouring their dear friend. You did well girls. All of you.

I still dont get why people bashing yeri for crying over jonghyun. Since her debut days yerim always got criticism for everthing she did. And you know jonghyun is really close with her.
