I honestly liked it when Bomby spoke less, in Bfdia I feel like he lost a lot of the “docile guy who gets really pissed when you mess with him”, not to say he doesn’t have his moments, but I feel like they changed him into a character that we wasn’t meant to be tbh
What you’re saying makes sense on paper, but the problem is that Bomby didn’t speak because the writers refused to do anything with him. While a less speaking Bomby COULD work, I don’t see it happening, as JNJ often straight up ignores those types of characters (except for TD of course)

As we all know, BFB was made before post-hiatus BFDIA and I don’t think there was any plans to continue BFDIA at that time. BFB would’ve canonically been a long time after BFDIA so ruby wasn’t a shy character during BFB, which is understandable However, once BFDIA started again I guess the writers were used to ruby’s new personality so they kept that. There are characters like flower who stuck to their old personality but flowers personality change was more obvious and easier to consider

I agree tear drop having the votes rigged against her may suck, but it paved way for a much better show. Her character in BFB got the placement she deserved for having that and TPOT gave her some great characterization.

I agree bfdia is also my favorite ongoing season at the moment. the charm is just so much better than tpot and yeah all the characters in bfdia that are still in are great! While I think it has changed since the hiatus and I didn’t like it as much at first, it has so grown on me. Ruby to me is an s tier only because out of all the characters she feels the most like the 2012 era with the jokes and being energetic. I like this ranking a lot tho and agree with a majority of it great job

Even though me and others find him cute and adore him he can be bland and I get why you don’t like him Of course I will always adore him either way and wish you put him in C because it is normally it the neutral tier.
