I’m sure because of their backstory, if a movie is ever made, Johnny would have high chances to get a redemption and be the only one turning against the family to finally die trying to protect Maria and Ana thanks to Maria convincing him. Nancy watching Leatherface sawing Johnny or knowing it later would make her turn mad crazy and get her killed right in the moment. Tbh if i could participate to write that part of the script it would be an honor. And I also got another idea involving a really rude and offensive scene starring Sissy keeping Leland and Danny as particular prisoners in a room if not her own room in the family house.
That sounds like an interesting fix it approach to the situation. Tho, despite his disdain for Nancy and the rest of the Slaughter family, he was raised a monster, and IS a monster. And I enjoy a redemption story here and there, but I don’t really see one for Johnny, not outside of fanfiction.
