Before Bruce,Iron Maiden sounded rather some mix of Rock&Roll and punk.(which was good)With Bruce Iron Maiden has changed music style too and became real heavy metal.The new sound became world famous,successful and still lasts.Without Bruce Maiden wouldn't and couldn't have been as famous as today.
I think it’s the same kinda thing with AC/DC. Without getting to the “jumping off point” you don’t get to jump. Paul got Maiden to the point that they needed to be in to “launch” Just as Bonn did. Plus, the worlds a better place for the music they brought to it, and I wouldn’t want to miss it.🤘🏻🫡
It won't be anytime soon, according to Steve. But hell, they're music will live on forever. My dad brought me up listening to not just Maiden, but NWOBHM in general, mainly Maiden though. And if I have children, I will make sure my boys at the very least appreciate this music, preferably fall in love with it!

paul was depressed and didn't like touring so he turned to drugs and had big problems... at times he wouldnt want to even be on stage and almost wouldnt come out during gigs... steve had to let him go... i never heard of steve telling him to fuck off, but hey what do i know... i saw this on a documnetary on youtube just type "iron maiden early days" i think it has like 6 or 8 parts i dont remember

I watched some footage of him live. Search for The Trooper -Blaze Bayley here on UA-cam. It's the first one on the list. You will see why I don't like him. Not only did he sound way off key, but what's with that whole tough guy act? I respect your opinion if you like him but he didn't fit Maiden at all.
