I'm an English teacher and UA-camr from the United States, so I'm not an English learner. But I sometimes watch other UA-camrs that teach English because I'm just interested to see their different methods and styles (even if I can't understand the native language-I use the translator). Anyway, I just wanted to say that I thought your videos are really good. They're very clear, and they have useful lessons that will help learners a lot. I'm always happy when I get an encouraging comment, so I like to also give encouraging comments when I see someone else like you doing a good job. You're doing great work…I hope you keep it up!
Hi Gaby. I thanks God you're still alive. I started watching your english since 2012. I appreciate you so much and I am your big fan. I am a médical student from Africa Guinea Conakry. Thanks
You speak an amazing, clearly articulated, advanced English. You can be listened to as the music. I catch your wonderful collocations and enjoy them. Congratulations. I wish I could speak like you do. ❤
Thanks for sharing the best movies for English learning. But, in my opinion, I prefer any movie one likes watching, which would be the best way to learn the language and have an enjoyable time. Here are mine 1. Les miserable 2. Gladiator 3. The last king of scotland
Thank you Gaby to make a video's on learning english language. My favourite hollywood movies are limitless numbers but most likely is " Real still" forever. Because my favourite hero is in this film ❤❤
Charlie Chaplin Movies absolutely have helped me to understand other people without learning any new language. He absolutely crossed the limit of language!
Thank you Gabby! They're really helpful for learning English about daily conversation! Could you please also recommend some TV series from such as Netflix containing both formal and informal English? Many thanks!
Thank you for the advice! I would really appreciate it though if you actually showed the list , - I had to rewind the video 3 times to get the name of film 4, and I'm still not sure. Was it 'Social network'? Thank you!
If you claim to share English improving movie titles with your listeners, you should pronounce them more clearly and slowly so that those who find it difficult to understand native speakers at first can understand you. If you're just doing your thing and showing your thing, that makes it pretentious rather than the interest of your audience.
My favorite American movies for practicing, improving native-like skills in English language: The Magnificient Seven 1960, El Dorado 1966, True Grit 1969 _Jozsef Sztako (Mr) from Hungary, Europe
I am watching 1st time your video such a great video. i watch movies daily but after watching i forgot everything i understood everything but can't catch any words or sentence from the movie. So should we abandon this mathod and doing other this or just can we just continue .
Let me "insert my 5 cents" here - a paraphrase of the Russian saying. I'm a native Russian speaker and I love English (as well as German and Spanish). Speaking of movies: it depends very much of actors and actresses. There is one subject for actors now almost non-existent: the scenic speech. Very few of modern actors take courses of it. One lucky exception is the American actress Lana Parrilla. Her speech is simply wonderful and could be used as a teaching aid. So I highly reconmmend Once Upon A Time Series. Another very good example of a very good speech is Irish actress Saoirse Ronan in The Host. Every word is clear and understandable. As of F-words (although I personally don't like them) there is the movie Becky's Wrath.
Hi Gaby, I think Tom Hanks is a great actor too, I like "Sleepless in Seattle" and "You've got mail". Devil wears Prada is one of my favorites, Meryl Streep is the best. Greetings from Mexico.
@@Ayva-Erik You keep watching people speaking native English every day. You won't understand it for the first few days but then you will start understanding it.
Who can recommend movie related to perfume topic? I am not very fluent in English but I have to move to USA soon and work in perfume industry Guys ,Please help me! Please recommend me any movie about perfumes 🙏🏼
@@GoNaturalEnglishLessons I am looking for any movie about the process of perfume creation, marketing the perfume brands and in general perfume industry. How it’s everything going inside this world . Currently we are creating our brand in Paris. In spite of the fact my English is quite well for different type of communication ,perfume topic still is very limited and so I dream to increase my knowledge in this field and not to pay interpreter for translation . Thank you so much for your attention and covering my answer ! 🙏🏼
1. Forrest Gump (1994) - Why: The movie uses clear and slow speech, especially by the main character, Forrest. It also covers various aspects of American culture and history, giving students context for language usage. The dialogue is straightforward, making it easier for learners to follow along. 2. The Pursuit of Happiness (2006) - Why: This film features natural, conversational English, and focuses on real-life situations. The vocabulary is practical, and the themes of determination and perseverance are universally relatable, helping students connect with the story while learning. The next movie I'm going to tell you about is one of my favorites, but before I reveal it, I want to show you how to use a really cool tool called LingoPie to improve your language learning through movies easily and quickly! (show how to use LingoPie, on-screen demo) 3. Cast Away (2000) - Why: With minimal dialogue for much of the movie, the language that is used is essential and clear. This allows students to focus on key phrases and vocabulary. The movie also deals with survival and problem-solving, offering context-driven learning. 4. The Social Network (2010) - Why: This movie offers insight into modern American culture, especially the tech industry. It uses contemporary language and includes plenty of dialogue with clear enunciation. The fast pace and technical jargon may challenge students but can also help them learn modern, conversational English. 5. The Devil Wears Prada (2006) - Why: The movie is set in the fashion industry, with a mix of formal and informal English. It provides a good variety of vocabulary, and the interactions between characters are rich in idiomatic expressions, making it a great resource for students to understand everyday conversations.
@@GoNaturalEnglishLessonsWhat a great teacher you are with such detailed explanations 🙏🏻 What about “The blind side” ? I also loved this movie and I feel the southern accent is kind of similar to “Forest Gump” but less exaggerated 😊
