I don’t understand how people have so many people at their wedding. I can barely think of 30 people I’d invite to my wedding, let alone over 100
When I was 22, I had 300 family & friends invited. Remarried at 35, it was just my hubby, kids, grandparents, father, and I. My hubby didn't even invite his own mother, lol, and I didn't want to invite my dad, but he showed up anyways. 😅
I think I have a big family and my fiance and I can barely go over sixty people we want to invite altogether. I know there's some cultures, particularly in the middle east and in Asia, that have HUGE weddings with 200-300 guests and they are EXPENSIVE. Gorgeous weddings though.
I've had friends and coworkers tell me that their parents on both sides like to invite their friends and allow +1s so it adds up, but their parents paid for most of the wedding. 😅
@@blujaebird I understand that and I can’t really dictate how a couple should run their wedding lol. I have a huge family too from both sides that I’ve been raised with, doesn’t mean I’d invite them to my wedding though 😂😂 Maybe I’m just mean lol 😭
Judge: I'm going to throw you all out!
Defendant: yesss 😊😁
Got me 😂😂😂
The defendant is funny she just want to move on throw the case out😂😂😂
Right out the gate I can tell this is going to be a mess
Yes but the good thing is they came to JJ whose good at sorting out messes..
The plaintiff is a pure liar. She says that they paid for 158, but had 160, and that she paid for the 2 extra guests. Then she says that she was just rounding, which is b.s because she still said she paid for the 2 extra guests. Then she said people didn't show up and it was more like 155 people, but then it still doesn't change the fact that she still said she paid for the 2 extra guests lol. Liar liar.
And clearly, the food must have been good, because the plaintiff was complaining that there weren't more leftovers. lol. 😅
Well, the defendant is just as bad. She said she arrived at 4 then changed it to 4:45. Said there was 180 people, then changed it to 170
@@Wayniesgirl she said she got there before 5. Then when asked what time she was supposed to be there she said 4, but got there at 4.45. At least she could admit she was late.
They both are the defendant at 1st said that it was 180 people then said 170 😂😂
What a lesson. Whatever documents one side is given, make sure there is an identical in your own hands.
@Caroline Wolter Hall, that being said, I wonder why the mother and daughter only had a contract but didn't have a signed copy.
@@maryrodger5130 she said the did docusign it’s an electronic way of signing documents the should have downloaded the signed pdf they didn’t do that so if the defendant has it she can easily just not show it says she never got it smh it’s continent but also a pain
@@hashtagslim The mother/daughter *still* should have made the effort to get a copy of the *signed* document. They still don't have an excuse because the signed document would have also acted as a signed receipt. Who waltz's out of a grocery store without a receipt? A department store receipt. Wal-Mart.
I had less than 30 people and it was a backyard wedding with BBQ! It was fun, so fun we did it again 10 years later (last summer) with the same people
I’ve been to a dozen weddings and my favorite was when my friends did the same. It was fantastic!
Yes,those are the best kinds. I don't understand people who spend several thousand dollars on a wedding when they could use that money for a house or an amazing honeymoon ( I guess unless Mom and Dad are paying for it). My husband and I got married in the middle of the woods on a bridge over a creek with our moms and 2 best friends, one officiating . The next day we had luau with leis, paper lanterns, etc and pineapple roasted pork and our wedding cake,it was really low key and awesome . It didn't cost an arm and a leg.
You have to get up at the crack of dawn 😂😂😂
Hello beautiful lady how are you, please my dear I try to add you but I'm getting network issue I would love to chat with you!!
My husband and I belong to a church that it's customary to invite the whole church. HOWEVER, there's no catering, no providing a lavish dinner to all comers. Married in the late afternoon or morning is the norm. About 200 people came and cake, punch, coffee, and nuts were served in the fellowship hall of our church. Since both of us were members, there were no fees charged for using the church or hall. Our congregation was middle income to lower income people. I received heartfelt compliments on the scriptures I chose about marriage for the ceremony. Everyone thought what decorations we placed on the ends of the pews, candles up front, and in the hall were lovely and enjoyed what was served, especially the luscious cake!
Your wedding is exactly what we had in December 1976. Everyone thought it was beautiful and enjoyed that there wasn't huge waiting times for pictures (we took most pictures before the ceremony,) food, etc. ⛪♥️♥️♥️
I'd rather be there an hour early, than minutes late! I have never been bothered by showing up early.
It's amazing how people cannot answer simple questions.
I know right it's like how hard is it to say how many people were in attendance!?
Don't know who's going to win the case, but listening to that menu made my mouth water.
@@nick8252 Look, animals themselves love lamb. Hell, crows even pluck out the eyes of ewes and newborn lambs when they get the opportunity.
But to answer your question directly, yes the menu is mouthwatering. Mediterranean food is incredible!
@@nick8252
Yes, imagining the screams of the animals just adds the extra zest to every bite 🙄
"I was there at 4." "When did she show up?" "5:15." "4:45." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I assume she was also rounding down.
She didn’t say she was there at 4. She said she arrived before 5. She said she was supposed to be there at 4. That’s not the same thing
@@HH-yq6ch she claimed she was supposed to get there at 4 & acknowledged she was late. Her defense was, "everybody was."
The defendant: there was 180 people then minutes later she had 170 people there. Haha this is going to be great!
Hello beautiful lady how are you, please my dear I try to add you but I'm getting network issue I would love to chat with you!!
The wedding industrial complex keeps lots of fools standing in front of Judge Judy 🙄
I'm shocked that grown adults in a courtroom can have so little self control.
The second she gleefully quacked out her hyphenated last name, I knew exactly who she was.
I had only 5 people at my wedding, 2 witnesseses on each side and one photographer 😂😂
I went to the courthouse and only had the judge, me, my husband and our two kids 😂
I'm gonna throw you all out!"
LMAO!
NO real caterer shows up 15 minutes before the wedding! Or any event. They should be there 2hrs before at a minimum.
It was 160 people.
158 people.
180 people.
170 people.
3:00pm
4:00pm
4:45pm
5:15 pm lolol
Dude. That Menu sounds FANTASTIC!
The amount of adults who don’t bother to make sure they have signed contracts for things that require it blows my mind.
A contract is a contract. No signature is not a contract.
Straight away you know the plaintiff is lying because they keep changing the number with a straight face
“You’re gonna have to get up at the crack of Dawn!” Haha
“Did you provide a lamb” 😂 dead
The wedding cases are always interesting.
They’re always the same - the bride hired someone, they were disappointed with the service provided, and they sue and lose because they “ate the steak”
@@SpaceIsThePlace_ Exactly! That would be like me suing the minister who married my ex-husband and I because the marriage only lasted 3 years. We got married in my parents house and we only had to pay the minister $300 to come and do it. The divorce cost way more.
158 people? I can only think of 15 to 20 people off top that I'd even consider having at my wedding.
Jeeze do they not know how to shut up?
JJ had a lot of patience for this case
I’m a caterer .. I set up 5 hrs before any event !! An hour before ?? A week before I get a final count & paid .. this lady is so unprofessional.. & other 2 are clueless .. know what you’re getting & all services .. smh 🤦♀️
Exactly. And if these people didn't sign the contract, then you don't provide the services.
And if you have 160 people but only paid for 158 initially, you give the caterer the money for the two extras.
All of these people are wrong in so many ways.
this is my favorite case I have to watch this over again, i laughed so hard at the plaintiff’s and the defendant 😂
Poor lamb.
This episode woke up this morning and chose violence.
I love judge Judy! She's so smart
Damn, that menu alone makes me want to crash this wedding!
This is besides the point but that menu sounds sooo gooddd!!!
I don't understand why plaintiff brought her mother with her?! She should sit down with the daddy.
SMH
Defendant resembles Sandra Bullock.
Not getting married or even interfering in modern relationships has been the best decision of mine by far. True freedom, allowing me to focus on my hobbies and what I truly enjoy. Too bad others are peer pressured into getting "scores" to realise there's other things to enjoy in life.
You don’t eat no meat
That’s okay I will make lamb
@@lordalcatraz000 don't chase me around the house trying to make me eat the eyes.
People really need to understand that if you don’t bring the evidence (even if you have it “at home”) it’s basically not having the evidence. The court system doesn’t go by “I have it at home”
If you’re coming to court bring your evidence ALL of it. Otherwise don’t be upset if things don’t go your way.
also, be prepared for judge judy to dismiss some, or even most of the evidence just because.
"I don't csre", love it, and you know she means it. 😍
I'm getting married in about two years and this makes me scared lol.
Coincidentally, we want a Greek place to cater.
Both litigants are a mess but the menu sounds delish. My mouth was watering when JJ was reading it.
Omg the back and forth, JJ was really getting annoyed. “I rounded up to 160” lmaooooooo😂😂
160, no 180, 158, no 170 😂😂😂😂
Part 2 please
Wow I’m hungry from just listening the menu 😅

As an event planner, it's very important to know exactly:
When: Date/Time of event
Where: location (inside/out)
How Many: Exact # Guests
Most importantly: Any Allergies.
Once the event planner has spoken with the main client/s.
Contract/s are signed by all parties, let the planning begin!
Otherwise see you in court!
30 seconds into this video and I’m already thinking “oi…” lol
I hate when the case starts and the plaintiff or defendant is laughing or acting smug. The mom chuckling and smirking was so annoying. They were a combined annoyance altogether honestly.
We put a tri tip in the ground the day before. Picked up the cake, in the morning, got to the site 2 hours before to get the meat out of the ground. Everyone was there at 6 and we had the ceremony, then dinner. Cost $150.
I don’t have a clue who’s the Ahole here.... but that list at the end sounded delicious!
"you came late!" that's what she said!! LOL
Omg the defendant is annoying 🤦🏾♀️
Hello beautiful lady how are you, please my dear I try to add you but I'm getting network issue I would love to chat with you!!
I’m tired of people trying to get free weddings. Always want to come back and sue for all the money.
$7,000 ÷ 158 wedding guests = $44 per person!! That's cheap as hell!!
My wedding for each guess almost 35 years ago, was $42 a person that included cocktail hour. $44 is crazy cheap.
@@kaydublin5164 well u know, cheapskates pay for mac n cheese and then they expect Kobe beef!!
Never seen so many people that can’t give a simple, straight answer.
Yikes that defendant with her constant interrupting 🤪
The food sounds yum 😋
i never heard so many number changes in my life. LOL.
The plaintiff is definitely a die-hard Taylor swift fan .., the way she smiled at her corny sounding last name, the way she thought her wedding was more perfect in her mind than what happened
When me and husband got we had family to help us we did the decoration cook the food my sister and her husband. Basically events planner and it smoothly
That menuuu 🤤🤤
GOSH Stop interrupting JJ
I don't understand how people can't seem to shut up. JJ does the talking, and isn't interested in your dramatic, infantile minutia.
No soup for you !
That list was making me have a foodgasm. Damn.
I don't think I even know over 100 people, let alone invite that many to my wedding.
this is hilarious 😂😂😂😂
weddings... I"ve never understand spending so much money for 1 day, even a wedding. It's all the decades that come after that are important. The producers need to tell the people to be quiet until spoken to by JJ ... frustrating watching all the interruptions by both sides
For real. Have a cool modest wedding, have a nice little nest egg, and go on a great honeymoon.
I got married this year. We were goi g to do a big wedding but then I was like why pay all that money for 1 day just to have to please everyone else. We did a little wedding with 15 people in our backyard and it was the best thing ever. Now we’re using the money we would have spent on stuff around our house snd a honey moon.
My wife and I had 55 people at our wedding and I thought that was too much. These narcissists with their crowded weddings lol
Umm that doesn’t make someone a narcissist. My family has big weddings because we have a lot of people. The registration list for the family reunion is at 250 people. Every funeral is about 80 to 100 people. Some people have big families, and weddings are generally family events
Cette femme parle trop alors qu'elle n'a pas la parole
If I was at a wedding or any other gathering and they brought a dead, cooked lamb to slice up and feed me, I would leave as soon as possible. Totally gross!
Chris V. is my language arts teacher 😭😭😭
These kind of cases is frustrating for me to watch sometimes i mean you're suing someone over a contract and the plaintiffs don't even have a copy of the signed contracts but an agreement with no signatures which is useless...any reasonable person would definitely have a copy of their signed contracts especially when you're going to court over the terms of the contract man cmon!! And to top it off they can't even say the exact number of guests and that lady saying she rounded it up uffff😤😤
Wth do they keep shouting out different numbers 🤣
Why would anyone agree to take their case to a court show and obviously not watch the show beforehand? 🙄🤦🏼♀️
Our wedding was just immediate family - siblings aunts uncles and cousins - 200 people. If I could go back it would have been just us parents and siblings on some mountain top somewhere easy simple
It,s called keeping up with the Joneses. I don't know about you but I haven't had 150 people i liked in my entire life. ☹️
Dinner sounds nice
7grand for catering for 160 people? This doesn't include decor, honeymoon, wedding rings, etc.
Wow. I must be in the wrong business.
Still don’t get how professionals don’t make contracts…
You just HAVE TO watch this one right to the end !
The plaintiff thinks that it's the caterer's fault that everyone got drunk and left the place in a chaotic mess 🤪 !!
I didn't realise that the caterer was responsible for telling guests how to behave 🤔
They keep saying that they paid for the extra guests, which part of "we paid" is difficult to understand?
Here comes the water works, can’t handle her emotions,so cry, those superficial tears after all they are you women’s kryptonite.
This feels like a second grade math class… Everyone’s just shouting out random numbers hoping to get the correct one 😵💫
Yes!
Too true 👍
But the judge is here to lay down the law. I love judge Judy
So true. And I’m a second grade teacher. 😂😂😂
Omg 😂😂😂😂😂 I said something similar but yours is way funnier!!
