I think I have a big family and my fiance and I can barely go over sixty people we want to invite altogether. I know there's some cultures, particularly in the middle east and in Asia, that have HUGE weddings with 200-300 guests and they are EXPENSIVE. Gorgeous weddings though.

My husband and I got married in the middle of the woods on a bridge over a creek with our moms and 2 best friends,one officiating . The next day we had luau with leis,paper lanterns,etc and pineapple roasted pork and our wedding cake,it was really low key and awesome . It didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I received heartfelt compliments on the scriptures I chose about marriage for the ceremony. Everyone thought what decorations we placed on the ends of the pews, candles up front, and in the hall were lovely and enjoyed what was served, especially the luscious cake!
