Came for the lessons stayed for the cat haha thank you so much this was so very helpful not sure if you’ve done a video explaining how to do these with pants but I’ll be looking if not, would love the help!
Is there a book that shows all of these smocking patterns? I am having trouble seeing all of the lines where I'm supposed to be stitching. Thank you for a beautiful video.
Thanks Mary C!...I have individual videos for each smocking technique. If you make a note of each of their names and search on my channel you'll find them in more depth and hopefully stronger lines!!
Hi there give me a smiley face emoji if you watch all the way through!😄my longest video yet! this includes wave, dragon scales(!) box, brickwork, lattice, leaf, arrow, flower and honeycomb smocking patterns. Happy New Year! Sally xxx
thank you! I have just now added the links to each of the included smocking designs in the video. They can be found in the description box below the video. Thanks so much for the suggestion!🥰
Hi there yes I'll try and do that next time...but meanwhile to look more closely at each of the smocking designs go to my playlist for more details on each of the designs included in this video.😃
I like your technique I sew clothes and would like to incorporate this but I'm not sure how much I would need If I was doing like a front bodice or sleeve for exsample
Hi Keiya sounds great! for each of these designs I have done a video of each one separately. (see the smocking playlist) In those videos I have usually said how much fabric I use and how much if any the shrinkage is. thanks
Hi Mina thank you for watching I apologise that yo u can't see all of the designs. I notice some are more visible than others. I did this video collaborating all the smocking designs I have done videos of so far....so that viewers could catch up on individual ones on the smocking playlist. I hope this helps!
I enjoyed looking at the patients being done . I'll try at least one thanks so much.
Amazing video 🤍

Can’t see the location of your stitches. Perhaps you can use a darker thread
