Walt Disney is an American icon. Through his characters, movies and theme parks, he strived to bring out that hope and inner child that every person needs. And in the process, he built one of the most successful and powerful companies in the world - worth an estimated $130 billion.
But before he was anywhere close to achieving success, he was homeless and only had $40 in his pocket.

    Interesting fact about Walt:
When delivering newspapers, he would occasionally sell them on trains bound for their destination (he would go a stop or two and switch back onto the next train home). He got bored of selling newspapers and in doing so, he started talking to folks on the trains - particularly older, Civil War vets. He was fascinated so much by their stories that he became intrigued with the whole time period.
That's why he loved Lincoln as a president and wanted to incorporate American history into his parks. As a kid, he had the opportunity first-hand to hear from these vets from both sides of the war.

Not necessarily. Walt's real success came from being independent. Oswald was not his, and everything before that was (meant) to be funded by other distributors. But much of the time they fell through on what they agreed to pay Laugh-O-Gram. If he hadn't gone bankrupt, and if Mintz hadn't taken Oswald and most of Disney's animators, he never would have created Mickey. In the biography Disney's World, he vouched to his wife Lilian on the train ride home from New York that he would never work for anyone else, other than himself, again. If he had, we wouldn't know Walt Disney today. He might be some obscure name in entertainment history, but nothing to what he is and was.

Wait what, give me a second are you telling the big, evil, kid-friendly entertainment powerhouse came from a homeless Walt when he left his house at 16 and after that he made Laugh-O-Grams and Oswald and a year later made the one and only Mickey Mouse from 1928, I never heard that Walt left his home at 16? Rest was history.

Now here a true REAL LIFE GOAT ! THIS STORY WAS HONESTLY WAY MORE INSPIRATIONAL THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE, THIS MAN WAS BORN TO CREATE ALL THAT WE COME TO LOVE NOW AND ALL STARTED FROM HIM SIMPLY JUST DRAWING A MICE ! He didn't even have to make it look crazy realistic just basic and now the land you made is worth 130 billion dollars like tf 🤯🍾 i would love to spend at lease one day with that man just so I can possibly learn something from him. Matter a fact, Walt if u can somehow read this right now, THANK YOU ! MY DAUGHTER LOVES DISNEY AND ANYTHING THAT MAKES HER HAPPY MAKES ME HAPPY!

      Hook got these because
The walt kid who made Disney he had a kid
Then the kid who grew up and told his kid and so and so on until
2020 that's why hook probaly knows this course he got lucky enough that walt was thought like that and hooks dad probaly told him about this now that's y he knows all this

I am a big fan of the old Disney not so much the new one without his direction. But his story is really inspiring! I had a dance teacher who used to dance for him. She knew him personally and really liked him! I don't know if it was in a theme park or movie. I have been inside of Charlie Chaplin's old house. I was baby sitting.

This is why disney should make a movie about Walt Disneys life for respect not just for money and creating more live actions and running out of ideas Walt Disney also inspired me to become an artist my favorites films when i was a child was Alice in Wonderland, and Snow white those films gave me the idea to draw and become a succesful artist he is really the man that can inspire us alot he always has the hope to not fail even if people keep bashing him he still keeps going and going following his dreams thats how life is supposed to be always follow your dreams life isnt always easy and comfortable it takes much much hardwork and once you have done your work you are now free to do anything and be happy
