This is the problem when someone rips a livestream video and re-uploads it to the internet without context. This was streamed from a phone for fun and was never meant to be a professional recording or release. Band-Maid has over 10 years of experience recording in professional studios and have even worked with big-time producer Tony Visconti. They have been featured in movie and TV soundtracks, have done over 500 performances, recorded tons of music videos, and have partnerships with well-known music instrument brands. They don’t need DIY recording tips! 😂
For context this video was done during the 2020 pandemic. Since the band couldn't perform live they hosted a series of online concerts for their fans and this was them just messing around before the show and not meant to be taken too seriously. I would highly recommend going to the band's UA-cam page and check out one of their live videos and promise you will not be disappointed.
If I remember correctly. This came about because of the cancellation of Knotfest in 2020, due to Covid. Band-Maid were due to appear and were going to play this as part of their set? but on hearing about the cancellation recorded it fancam style on their studio.
Yeah, I saw those ignorant comments coming from a mile away. This was recorded on a cell phone for fun after Knotfest was canceled due to Covid. These ladies are legit rockstars with over ten years in the business. They aren't some cover band scraping away a living.. They've toured the world and will have 9 studio albums under their belts when their new album drops this summer. They certainly don't need your advice on anything.
