@123stefen In the beginning of the video we stated "Lolita lives in the smallest tank. Lets see how much space Lolita has to perform tricks compared to the other 4 marine parks in the USA. I am against any orca in captivity. My point is to show what our government has found acceptable living conditions for Lolita for almost 40 years" Not sure how you missed that part of the video. So yes it was to compare tank size only.
@amberE022 @amberE022 - Lolita would not be released directly in the wild- did you read the retirement plan?? Keiko made HUGE improvements once he was returned to the wild- he gained 2,000 Ibs, learned to fish & hunt, he just never found his pod. There is also no proof that Keiko being kept in captivity so long did not damage his immune system and cause long term problems for him, which he could have died from also. No one knows. Most everything about Keiko's death is only speculation.
@Luke19Wales - Keiko did much better than it seems you understand- yes, Keiko could not find his family.....yet he still survived for many years on his own. Researchers now have a better understanding of individual pods and who is who. No one knew where Keiko's pod was at that time....Lolita's pod is very well documented, her mom is Ocean Sun from the L pod. It is never too late to return a wild animal to the wild so long as proper rehabilitation is offered. Even if she just went to a seapen.
@amberE022 @Luke19Wales Wait lolita isn't that old to be put into a sea pen the oldst killer whale today in the wild is 99 If we can train her to do stupid tirks then im sure we could teach her how to survie and have a life in the sea pen wher she can here her own family calls and if she cant get to them then im sure she can live in the sea pen Is't size of a football pitch and theres one all readdy bluit for her
@Luke19Wales Thank you for checking out the website and for your understanding

all seaworlds bring sick animals and make them feel better
Why did you show six flags california and all the seaworlds, if the video is just suppose to be about Lolita? Areyou trying to compare the tank size?
