Twins MOVING OUT | Saying Goodbye to Freshman Year & Bonus ASMR????

- You guys… I can’t believe that we are already moving out of our Freshman #college dorm! It honestly feels like we just moved in at Baylor… where do you think we will live when we go back???
It felt like #moving out of our apartment took FOREVER… with two of us, we just have SO MUCH stuff! A lot of the #Freshman teens that were moving out of their dorms had like, one bed and a few boxes of clothes and school supplies. Then there’s us... hauling out of our #dorm a family's worth of furniture and home decor! 😂 Plus, we had stuff for 2 students, not just 1!
We made so many awesome friends at Baylor, a few of which helped us load up our car, and haul it to a storage unit! Nothing makes you feel more like an adult than moving out WITHOUT your parents, and finding and renting your own storage unit! We’re doing some serious adulting, y’all! 🙈
Telling our friends goodbye for the summer was actually a lot harder than we anticipated. I know we’ll see them again in 3 months, but it’s still difficult to say goodbye to our freshman year and the memories tied to it. It’s kind of like the end of an era, especially since when we go back we will be starting as college juniors in Baylor's business program! (We might not see as much of our Freshman friends as we did this year since we will be a year ahead.)
As much as we're going to miss our friends over the summer, I will NOT be missing Business Calculus! We are SO excited to have a break from our tough 18-credit class schedule, and will be able to enjoy the summer with our family! (Paisley missed us, I am sure!)
Also, a HUGE "thank you" to Jeffrey, Antoine, Anna, Brad, Sean, Tina, Cameron, Jensen, who helped us move out!!

I actually have serious respect for your parents that they made you do this on your own. It's good for you!! They helped you a ton moving in, so it's good for you to do this without them. All a part of the college/adulting experience! And you all did great!
Yes and no. When there's the move in, there aren't finals, while the move out is during finals (honestly I find it crazy that they have to leave just 24 hours later).
It seems to me that moving in with the help of your family makes you overestimate how much stuff you can bring in, but then you have to take that stuff out all alone during finals!
I would have done the opposite. Moved in by myself, not bringing that much stuff. Done some little moving out preparation during finals, but 99% focused on studying. Asked my family to help me on the last day, after finals (which would have been enough because I wouldn't have had that much stuff).
I live with my grandfather, and he is just like Brooklyn and Bailey’s parents, I have to buy everything I want and I have to move the stuff that I want to move

I can't believe how much crap people move with. I moved towns to go to university. I had all my bedroom furniture; but my clothing all fit into ONE large suitcase. I don't get how people have 3 or 4 vehicles filled of stuff. It's too much.
Mine all fit into one car, with 3 people in it too and one small trailer.
Why do they have an apartment in college don't they live in dorms ?

My parents never helped me move in/out of anywhere either. It definitely builds character, especially when you have to do it a couple of times a year in early adulthood. I applaud them actually doing the work and showing it on YT, rather than just hiring a company.....

I just graduated last weekend from UTSA and I can tell you, those years will be the best years of your life. Be involved, continue to make friends, do well in school because it will fly by so quickly!

Just wait until your done with college completely. It has been a year since graduating grad school and I still miss my classmates. Just knowing all the hard work we went through together and now we are living our own lives. I talk to a couple of friends from time to time, but it will never be like it was before. I agree with you Brooklyn. I was super "emotional" about my first year of college being over. I didn't go back to the same school the next year and I never lived with my roommates again and it was hard and I missed them all so much but it was good and I had a great first year and learned a lot! Your summer will fly by and you'll be back to school before you know it!
