I thought that Derek Prince was the authority on deliverance, why are now people doing deliverance on line when this needs to be done in person in case the person tries to hurt themself or someone else?

Hmmm... I have a lot of trouble with spirits being the cause of all of my problems. I acknowledge this is 90% my hang-up and ignorance, but it's also 10% teaching from cessationist pastors like John MacArthur. I struggle between "the battle belongs to the Lord" and "we now also have authority over demons as Jesus said and the apostles demonstrated in Acts". What I had learned was that only apostles were given these abilities in order to confirm that their word was from God. I want BIBLICAL sources that show me that the "lay" person also has been given this ability. The only one I can come up with is "there is neither male nor female slave nor free, all are one in Christ"... can anyone help with this? From the bible and not your personal experience? Thanks!
