DanteDevilDan hello I'm a rookie that started to play WMMT5DX+ like, I dunno, less than half a year but way less than that due to some reasons, like no arcade nearby and tight schedule? When I first played this I just picked the Aventador by gut feeling and picked AT as my first car ever. Right now I have no idea what to do but grinding upgrade points while practicing; I have 5 points for fight tuning and for most of the time I put 4 points on handling and sometimes even all 5. Should I go for a new Aventador with MT, go for a completely different car or keep on practicing? Can you upload a guide for Aventador? Please? (Sorry for the long comment)
Ben Skywalker Firstly, complete all of the story. Max out your car first so you have the full advantage of power and handling controls. I’m not able to play WMMT currently to make a video on the Aventator however I did briefly used it when I borrowed someone’s car in Japan. It seemed to handle very differently than from the likes of Japanese imports in that it had more grip than what I expected from a European car. If you’re familiar with your Aventator then keep using it. Feel free to have a secondary car (Rx8, Rx7 FD, GT86, Evo8-9 come to mind) and get a feel for that if you like. Personally I would recommend the Rx8 because it’s a great handling car and does well in battles too.
Awesome work, i love the way you displayed how hard it was for you to help allow people to understand that any one can do it aslong as they practice and give it a go. 👍
Thank you kindly. Its never easy, but don't think of it as an obligation. If you know you won't be able to give it 100% concentration, its not worth doing. You would be surprised how much the average driver can improve from their first go :). I appreciate the comment and thank you again :D.
Thanks for the tips, great video! I've done Hakone a few times in my awesome 550HP clunker with no boost or whatever those meters are. I'm so bad I've barely improved my time. But it's fun trying different ways to rotate the car and seeing what happens. And wrestling with the gearshift is always entertaining.
This is just a recommendation but, those referencing tips you mentioned is very useful and applicable. I would like to see more "references" to improve more on TA, I think it's very helpful.
The point is with referencing is that it can be anything. For example, an unfamiliar track you’re racing on. You guess how to take a corner, so the next run you find something as an anchor point, like a sign or markings on the road. Then next you experiment with the timing of how far you are to ref. point. Then it’s a case of memorising that timing for the next run
DanteDevilDan that's very eye opening since i never thought that there are reference points in the game but actually I just never looked for one. I now want to try this method. Thanks Dante, keep making awesome videos!
You're most welcome dude! I hope it all works out for you and if you play on other games it can work the same way :). Let me know if there is anymore help you need or if you need clarification. Rip up that road ;)
I got 1st on 2 of the wangan area course and yokohane Got 4th on C1 Got 6th on Nagoya Got 2nd (i think) on fukuoka Got 10th on hiroshima Got 3rd on mt taikan Got 5th on osaka Its was really good to do all of those TAs especially wangan and yokohane, i use my Supra for all of this and it is amazing
usually when i do Mt Taikan downhill(the one with the toll gates and town), i do alot of inertia drifts, i have learnt that if you do just the right amount of "heel-toe" (possible if you have played for a while) the car will naturally correct itself when it snaps back. Thats a tip you guys can try too.
thanks for your tutorial videos, especially for Hakone tips and R34 TA in Hakone. After learning from those videos, Iam able to take crown in Hakone with R34. Even through I use my driving style, which is slower than yours, but faster than average style and lesser risk than yours.
Govin Lock I am pleased the video helped you dude. We all have our own styles, pros and cons coming with it, however if it works for you then keep going for it. I will be honest the R34 took sometime getting used to as I had to turn a fraction of a second sooner and change my style a little, but it’s popular with players so covering that was vital. Keep at it and wish you the best in future runs
Whichever car you’re most comfortable with dude ☺️. Rx8, Rx7, AE86, GT86, Skyline R32-R34 and Evo 8-9 are good choices. If unsure, get a test drive from a friend who has a car you’re interested in ☺️.
Depends which RUF you mean. Old RUF has the same size profile and handling of the Fairlady 240z and Toyota AE86. Newer RUF's tend to favour Top Speed over handling but are better handling that some of the US cars. Refer to my throttle control video for more help = ua-cam.com/video/_JAgnVrQPlY/v-deo.html
I find it VERY HARD to memorize video game cartoon landscapes. Everything looks the same, and in the game, there are STILL those two "fake outs" where walls outside curves LOOK LIKE roads to turn into. For ME, the best strategies to share are DRIVE SMOOTH and PLAN AHEAD! You should be starting your turns and especially weaving through traffic BEFORE you get to a point and as smooth and straight as you can. It's counter intuitive, but when you're approaching a car to your left and will have to pass another ahead on your right, you should already be steering left a little before you even pass the first car to be as far left as possible for the next car. So many players wait way too long to start their turns. Run the "race line" start wide before a turn, dive into the inside and slide back out using the width of the road to make your turn wider so you can run it faster. STOP bumping into ANYTHING! It only slows you down! As an amputee... I can't shift, and even if I could, I probably wouldn't as it's not realistic without a clutch
It depends. On TA, some corners require a bit on the back corner of the car to instantly kill speed plus set yourself up for the angle of the corner. For example, C1 inwards has 1 and Hakone Outbound has 2.
Its do-able, but hard because your car would likely change gear mid-corner and you could be on half throttle on a gear change when you should be on full power... making it a loss in speed.
Wave PROX That track is the ultimate test of perfect shifting and minimal steering. I was going to include tips on that but I feared the video would be a little too long
Hey man, i know this kindda weird but maybe this idea might help I really need some tips and trick to master Hakone inbound and outbound in WMMT5DX+ With Lamborghini Aventador Lp-700 i think I know you are a pro at WMMT5DX+ and i need your help
Hey Sibbers. I had very briefly driven the Aventador on Hakone when in Japan a year ago, from what I remember the car seemed to grip more than most of the other cars o.0. It through me in a loop a little because it meant my timings had to change. I am definitely not a pro hahaha but good news is that I will be in Australia to maybe play a bit of the game again and if I get the chance I'll borrow an Aventador and see how it handles.
Hmmm, I've never used shifting down early to lose speed as a way of doing time attack so I can't really say if its good or bad. However, I wouldn't recommend shifting up mid-drift as firstly it would kill more your speed in the corner, it would throw you off balance and you would need to focus on the exit of the corner to keep up a good smooth rhythm in time attack.
I’ve no idea how it handles in WMMT6 but the R35 in WMMT5DX the GTR handles best with top speed. Whereas RX-7 and RX-8 are great examples for technical tracks like Hakone

Rx7 and any kinds of mazda cars have sound indicators that can help you to study the manual Transmission

Having fun is number 1! I'm glad you liked the video and happy youre having fun :D. I hated the track before, but now its my favourite
you're NEVER going to beat time attack without a full tuned car, and even then, it helps to have a really good one like "the best" RX7.
Nice this was helpful (I got the 11 best times on 11 course at my local Arcade)
You've reached 3,000 subscribers, dude. Congratulation.
Thank youu!!
Actually, besides that, is there a reason that you've stopped uploading any kind of video? (or maybe WMMT video)
Sorry for the late response, I didn’t get notified. Currently I’m in UK that doesn’t have WMMT.

Hi welcome to chilies
thanks
back from the dead, i see
I've technically not been dead, I've been dealing with opportunities involving work. Most recent one being for another UA-cam channel.
Car with the best handling is GTR r35
I’ve no idea how it handles in WMMT6 but the R35 in WMMT5DX the GTR handles best with top speed. Whereas RX-7 and RX-8 are great examples for technical tracks like Hakone
DanteDevilDan the GTR have heavier weight and it is 4wd
Later I use manual

omg
Lol manual transmission is very advanced
