Hi i`m 74 years old and been pike fishing since I was about 18 , always used two trebles and no oils, no problems.

Broke my 5 session blank today with a beautiful short big belly girl of 19 lb. Pike she was 92cm and 19lb. On the nose great times thanks for your honest videos I’ve been blanking with you for weeks and it’s your videos that have kept me positive and and put in the hard work and the results will come👍🏻🎣🐟👍🏻

as regards oils I do use groundbait laced with oils and found it beneficial on the river Wye. Agree totally with all your comments regarding single and circle hooks. for pike.

those first two pike where massive!! well done. Did you weigh or measure them? I can never seem to get pike much bigger than 10lbs but those two looked really nice, congrats.

What is your favourite dead bait, I've tried all of them but I catch only on sardine?
Any bait will do mate , if the pikes hungry they'll eat it
Lee ,well done on the fish m8 ,iv been blanking as well ,i only fish big pits and lakes ,do you think i should use oily fish or concentrate on roach deads as thats what are in the lakes i fish .tight lines m8 .
Cheers mate, I only use sardine because I get it cheap, pike will eat anything mate , oily fish are brilliant for attraction
