    Look at King Arthur tools for the Holey Galahad discs for an angle grinder. A few different companies now have these types of carbide studded discs for sanding / grinding / shaping / carving wood. I have used mine to level out chainsaw marks a few times so they are easier to sand smooth. Nice work, gave me an idea of something I can do with a chunk I have laying around.

      Thanks for watching! It was Minwax wipe on poly satin oil polyurethane 4 coats. No wax. It's 28 inches across in diameter at the base and was a red cedar log on our farm that was cut many years ago so all the sap wood had already weathered off.

    Hey Kap, Are these trees growing on your property? I like to see a living cedar tree and the shape of their leaves and bark to help identify one. I remember those antique Cedar Trunks and Wardrobes from back in the day. Good for moth proofing. Stuff most be most expensive these days? Nice job Mrs K.

    • @CedarBluffRustics
      @CedarBluffRustics 5 років тому +2

      Hi Bruce, yes they are. Gives me an idea on another video! They are mostly mixed in with the hardwoods but now that the forest is opening up more with foliage drop it would be easier to show the shapes of the cedars. They keep their needles all year round. Once hunting season is done I think I'll do a virtual tour! And yes those are the ones for closets and trunks. I never liked the smell of the clothes in them, but love the cedar smell! :D
