Madurai has been one of the oldest and revered cities in Tamilnadu. It has helped in developing Tamil and its culture. It can be described as follows: Those who visit Madurai with hunger, it satisfies your hunger with its lovely idlies and variety of chutnies; if you visit with love, you get the aromatic Jasmine; if you visit with Bhakti/spirituality, you have temples to attain inner peace; and even if you come with enemity, you get lovely down to earth friendship that breaks the enemity within.. That is Madurai 🙂
@9:18, it is called 'koozhu', phonetically pronounced as 'koo-lloo'. It is one of the healthiest breakfast and gives lot of energy needed for the day. It is generally had by those who do labourios work, like farmers and daily labourers. And also by those of us who want to switch to healthier option. It has high content of proteins, iron and dietary fibre. It's ingredients can be various types of cereals (Ragi, barley, corn, red rice, etc) or pulses (green gram, fried gram) or nuts (almond, cashew, groundnut). 'Manna health mix' is available in almost all supermarkets.
You guys seems such natural visitors....less pain on nerves....kollu is a kinda grain...it is golden-brownish colour... Best wishes from here in Malaysia...
Awsm video guys! 🔥 I’m originally from TamilNadu living in Oz 🇦🇺. Not many foreigners go to these places that you guys visit, but trust me that going off the beaten path and experiencing the village lifestyle is where you get the true authentic experience of the people and the culture in South India 🇮🇳
The cool drink you wanted to know about is called "Koozh" in local language (pronounced cool). It's basically porridge made out of millet and mixed with butter milk and served with pickle.
'Kool' (koozh) is gruel or porridge. It is prepared with rice or millets. It is semi-liquid and is consumed in the morning for breakfast, especially in rural areas.
nice video & cool look in Indian dressing :) hope you people like Indian food and hospitality :) if you still here and plan western India than sure i guide you n support you at my level best for tour Rajasthan & Gujarat states :)
To see tiger you should go to ooty- mudhumalai tiger reserve, which is located on the north western tamilnadu region. People prefer going to kodaikanal these days as kodaikanal is less commercialised when compared to ooty. But ooty is the only hill station in tamilnadu where there are more chances of spotting wildlife like deers, elephants, indian gaur and tiger (if you are lucky enough). Hope you enjoy your days in tamilnadu, the safest part of india.
@@NativeTravellers Please do visit when you find time. I myself have seen quite a lot of wild deers, boars, gaurs and elephants and i am lucky enough to watch a tiger only once. Hope you also enjoy the same.

@@NativeTravellers thanks brother,, and let know about it,,, the temple is situated at tanjore district, tamilnadu, India,,,,, it is one of the unesco world heritage of tamilnadu and it is attested to the architectural art of tamilans,,, it was built by king rajaraja 1,, a great emperor.... please come and visit
If pictures (even with a cell phone) are not allowed inside Madurai's Meenakshi temple... then, simply I will not travel to this city. Yes, I know it is because they're afraid of terrorism, but there are terrorism threats in many places around the world and cell phones are not forbidden.
To be honest you get a better view of the temple from outside anyway. Also sometimes the best memories are the ones where we are fully present not taking pictures or in our phones, but truly taking in the moment.
@@NativeTravellers Really, in this case this would be making a virtue out of necessity... Moreover, I'm old enough to realize how memories get blurred.
