I have a requirement like, front end using adapt ui5 they have created custom field, once custom field created, extended cds view created automatically which is not editable, can we create one more cds view to modify the fetch logic of the extended cds view is that possible?

Why it is not recommended to create custom CDS view directly on standard table? Is it just because we are creating redundant object or any other reason?

make sure is there any standard CDS for the tables, if not is it feasible to create CDS on the standard tables.

Are you try to install SAP in your system, it actually not advisable. Better yo with rental system. As it comes with the remote option, so basic system config. works better - Decent OS (may be latest) with minimum 8/16 GB ram with 64 bit processor.
