Copycat Starbucks Medicine Ball:
1 cup water
1 cup Simply Lemonade
1 Teavana Jade Citrus Mint tea bag
1 Teavana Peach Tranquility tea bag
1 tbsp. honey
one pump Peppermint syrup (optional)
Steam water and lemonade until almost boiling.
Steep tea bags in liquid for 5 minutes.
Add honey and peppermint syrup if desired.
Stir, breath it in, and enjoy!
Smoked Buffalo Chicken Dip:
4 c. shredded cooked chicken
16 oz. cream cheese, cubed
16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
2 c. Ranch salad dressing
1/4 c. Franks Hot Sauce
In a three quart slow cooker, combine chicken, cream cheese, Ranch, and hot sauce. Cover and cook until melted (about 2 hours on low.) Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
If you want to smoke it like we did, just put it on the smoker at 200° for about 2 hours. Keep uncovered so it absorb the smoke flavor.
Pizza Dip:
16 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. pizza sauce
1 lb. sausage
grated mozzarella cheese
Mix cream cheese, sour cream, oregano, and garlic salt. Spread in a 9x13 pan. Spread pizza sauce and sprinkle with meat. Then top with cheese. Bake covered at 350° for 15-20 minutes. Serve with chips or toasted baguette slices.

Okay, I was losing my tears with the Evonnie singing section. The video of road thru the farmlands and her singing just reminded me of this great country and what life is all about. I was thinking of how many generations of Gods precious children who have sang those songs before her...
I am Jewish but I still learn from you and like your view on homemaking. I love how we both have a love of G-d. What you call Sunday Mennonite Supper we call Noshing. We do that on Shabbat or for parties.

When I was pregnant I had HORRIBLE sinus issues- I could not breath for the life of me. I breezed through the first trimester- ZERO morning sickness until I hit my second trimester- then I had hyperemesis gravidarum. I wasn’t able to cook much less clean- it was miserable- totally worth it- but completely miserable. I’m always in awe of pregnant women cooking and cleaning- I wanted to badly to, but everything turned my stomach.

Your depiction of the countryside on a Sunday morning ride to church coupled with the beautiful hymns and (best of all) Evonnie’s beautiful singing brought me to tears of joy. I also especially enjoyed the beautiful little boy antics of Millar - and what a good dad Josh is - as shown by his pure love of engaging with Millar - raking him up in his arms and kissing him. You and your family are truly “rich” beyond comparison- on all the aspects that are truly the most important! Your church’s version of small groups is interesting. We do the “live life together” thing but weekly meetings ups with someone leading a conversation about the sermon & usually a meal or heavy snacks. It’s very diy. We love it.
