रेग्यूलेशन 198. अवस्थाएं जिनमें अनुमोदित बारूद काम में लाना जरूरी है (Conditions requiring use of Permitted Explosives)-
(1) इन रेग्यूलेशंस में किसी बात के होते हुए भी, यदि प्रयोग किया गया बारूद अनुमोदित बारूद (Permitted Explosive) नहीं है, तो भूमिगत भाग में निम्नलिखित को छोड़कर किसी भी अन्य जगह कोई भी होल चार्ज या फायर नहीं किया जाएगा-
(a) पत्थर-सूंघ (stone drift) जिसमें सूखा कोल डस्ट नहीं है।
(b) सिकिग शाफ्ट ।
(2) दूसरी या तीसरी डिग्री की गैसी सीम में खोली चढ़ाया हुआ अनुमोदित बारूद (permitted sheathed explosive) या उसके बराबर सुरक्षा वाला अनुमोदित बारूदं (equivalent sheathed explosive) अथवा चीफ इंस्पेक्टर द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त कोयला तोड़ने के किसी यंत्र या उपकरण को छोड़कर अन्य किसी प्रकार का बारूद प्रयोग नहीं किया जाएगा। पहली डिग्री की गैसी सीम में उपरोक्त के अलावा अनुमोदित बारूद (permitted explosive) प्रयोग किया जा सकेगा।
परंतु, चीफ इंस्पेक्टर लिखित आदेश देकर, उसमें दी शर्तों पर, पहली डिग्री की गैसी सीम अनुमोदित बारूद को छोड़कर अन्य किसी प्रकार का बारूद प्रयोग करने की अनुमति दे सकेगा। में
(3) सब-रेग्यूलेशन (1) में किसी बात के होते हुए भी, यदि ब्लास्टिंग किसी पत्थर सूध में या सिकिंग शाफ्ट में कोल सीम के 5m के अंदर की जाती है, या एक सीम से दूसरी सीम तक ड्रिफ्ट (coal measure drift) या स्टैपिल पिट (staple pit) में की जाती है, तो चीफ इंस्पेक्टर द्वारा अपेक्षित प्रकार के अनुमोदित बारूद का ही प्रयोग किया जाएगा।
Regulation 198. Conditions requiring use of Permitted Explosives -
(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in these Regulations, if the gunpowder used is not a permitted explosive, no hole charge shall be fired or fired at any place in the underground except-
(a) Stone drift which does not contain dry coal dust.
(b) Seeking shaft.
(2) second or third degree gaseous seam containing permitted sheathed explosive or equivalent sheathed explosive or any other device or instrument other than a coal breaker recognized by the Chief Inspector. No type of ammunition will be used. In addition to the above, permitted explosives can be used in the first degree gas seam.
Provided that the Chief Inspector may, by giving written order, permit the use of any type of gunpowder other than Gaseous Seam Approved gunpowder of the first degree, subject to the conditions specified therein. In
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-regulation (1), if the blasting is carried out in any stone well or sinking shaft within 5m of a coal seam, or if there is any drift from one seam to another (coal measure drift), or in a staple pit, only approved ammunition of the type required by the Chief Inspector shall be used.
