I was about to ask why this exists. But I thought about for a few seconds and figured it out. The original song is technically owned by Warners Bros so there's nothing Komeda can do with it. The only feasible way for Komeda to get the song back is make a new version that is different enough to avoid WB's lawyers. The spelling of this version is "Blossom" without the periods, by the way. Again to differentiate it from the WB-owned version.

So crazy. The original song was made specifically for the Powerpuff Girls album, so they re-record the song for the Kokomemedada alalbumbum, then they make video for it that's mostly animation (mostly using photographs) but contains no trace of anything related to the PPG. Is it me, or is this like making a cover of an Iggy Pop song, then making a video for it with Bon Jovi making multiple cameos, but not so much as an Iggy Pop picture in the backgorund?

If this is seriously the real one, I'm certainly surprised. This doesn't sound ANYTHING like the one on the PPG soundtrack,
but I do see how it's different. It's slower than the one on the CD. And some extra guitar and words at the end.
