Second, many of the solos on that record (Shadows of Life, Hole In My Head, If The Good Die Young, The Maze, etc) are clearly played by George because he has such a unique style that isn't easily replicated, and certainly not by Don (even though Don was actually a great lead player at one time).
@@VidCruzer82 I'm also a fan of Don and George. I purchased both LYNCH MOB and Don's 'Up From The Ashes'. Don DOKKEN is full of you know what. He says all guitars but there is somebody else playing those solos and if Don can play like that then holy cow. I just want it confirmed
@@ChuckShute no it's not that. It's a situational thing and an after thought. No one has hit the lightbulb and thought. Wait if George didn't play the solos. Who did ? If Don did those solos I am absolutely positive that would be huge news because no one knows of him as that kind of guitar player. I also recall don stating he wrote the main riff for Mr scary but that was years ago when I heard that and my mind could play tricks on me. I also commented on your video as that happened so it was absolutely fresh on my mind and I've been watching all these interviews and I'm not sure why no one has caught on to that yet. I have been a die hard fan my entire life tho.
It would have been cool to have a good music scene in Michigan but not where I was from, good for Don for not doing all the drugs like alot of musician did alot of them and some died
@ChuckShute hey man can you answer me one question about the new dokken record,? You seem to have heard the entire thing... is the song I remember on this record a different song than the track of the same title on 2008s Album lighting strikes again?
it's incredible all you can get from a melomaniac narcissist when you push the right buttons. I feel sorry for the amount of crap his bandmates need to hear from him every time he opens up his mouth. Don would still be playing Young Girls and Stick to your guns somewhere in Germany if he had not found Lynch and had not had Pilson co-writing songs. That's a fact. Lynch put Donnie on the map. He was very lucky to find these two guys who wrote almost on its entirety - the hits - for Don, with the sole exception of Alone Again and Breaking the Chains. He should be thankful! He should speak highly of everyone around him because he would've ended producing records if not for his bandmates. Everyone that has worked with Donnie hates the guy. Long line-up of people who left the guy: Juan Croucier, Barry Sparks, John Norum, Reb Beach, Mark Boals, Sean McNabb, Jeff Martin, Bobby Blotzer..AND George and Jeff gave up on him too! This guy should get his act together and make amends to everyone. Have been a fan of the band since 82. But this guy is just a tough listen.

Tell him to look into (Stem Cells) for his arm & hand. They can do heavy treatments in Mexico. It will heal him.
I hope so. Poor guy
Wow he is a forgiving soul. I don't know that i could do that.
Yeah, from what he says I don’t know that I could either. Unless there is a part of the story he is leaving out.
Incredible interview!! I grew up a massive Dokken fan and look forward to their final album if indeed it is their last one!
Glad you enjoyed the interview! I hope you enjoy their last album too!
Im 13, im friends with george and he told don about me. Im about to get george’s vip card and he said hes gunna take me so see don. IM SO GRATEFUL I CANT WAIT TO MEET DON AND GEORGE❤

Yes! 👏👏👏
This is a cool podcast bro I subscribed 👍
Thank you!!! Appreciate you! 🙏🏻
Man I miss my Rode mic and filter.. had same one you do there Chuck. sold it when needed funds for more guitars LOL.
It’s a great mic!
Don needs a can of Raid flying insect spray. That fly is hovering around him like he took a big dump.
Love you, Don!!!
I❤don
He’s great! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
In the modern era videos are huge. I wish they did all videos for broken bones. Also. I wish you confirmed he played all the solos on dysfunctional
I thought I did? Isn’t that what he said? Except for Too High To Fly.
@@ChuckShute I've been chasing this information for a while and usually when that part of the subject comes up it's very vague because Don's throwing so much information out at you. But he was not confirmed playing the guitar solos and I was just dying to find an interview where he says yes, that is me playing guitar solos. He says all guitars but there is somebody else playing those solos and if Don can play like that then holy cow. I just want it confirmed
@@hollandrocksls maybe he’s being coy on purpose. Idk.
@@hollandrocksls interesting, I’ll have to hammer them more on that next time. Or another member of the band.
It would have been cool to have a good music scene in Michigan but not where I was from, good for Don for not doing all the drugs like alot of musician did alot of them and some died
Yes, very sad. Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
Hey Chuck...if you ever speak to Don again because I probably not get a chance tell him thank you from me for all they have given us
Will do
@ChuckShute hey man can you answer me one question about the new dokken record,? You seem to have heard the entire thing... is the song I remember on this record a different song than the track of the same title on 2008s Album lighting strikes again?
@@gregorypeck1606 interesting, it sound very different to me. And different lyrics. But same title. Weird.
@ChuckShute cool I'm happy to hear that it's different .
Gotta love don!! Such a character, learned alot from this interview especially not to bring your girlfriend backstage to meet don😂
Yes! Exactly! 😂 thanks for watching!
Not to be dumb here but what do you mean by don't bring your Girlfriend backstage ?
@@jamiesonmathias7859 because he and Steven Tyler were going naughty things to girls back then
@@ChuckShute What Rock stars wasn't lol.
excellent
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
Thanks for sharing.I like dokken! God bless you! Savior JESUS keep us safe in these end times!
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Don should know as an artist..no human being is illegal....
That story about the kids playing blues is all that matters.
🥲
I wonder if the song I remember on heaven comes down is different from the song I remember from the lightning strikes again album?
it's incredible all you can get from a melomaniac narcissist when you push the right buttons.
I’d love to get Reb on and hear his take
🤘LIVE TO ROCK ROCK TO LIVE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER SURVIVE UNTIL THE END 🤘
TRUTH... Remember that crap.....Bless you man....
Thanks for watching!
Dokken loves docking
🤣
38:45 I never realized the song Kiss of Death was written about AIDS, as Don professed here!! Literally took out Robbin Crosby from Ratt.🎉
Yeah, very interesting
