  • Isabella Forciniti is an Italian sound artist, researcher, and performer based in Vienna. Her projects focus on the artistic potential of digital networking and environmental data. Her academic background encompasses communication sciences, multimedia, and computer music. She was featured on the Shape+ platform's selection and performed in many of Europe's avantgarde music festivals, like Wien Modern, Ars Electronica, Unsound Festival, and more.

    Very interesting interview, in particular the section on influences. I also listened to some of Isabella's other YT performances, sounded great, most inspiring.
    BTW, shame you didn't discuss Isabella's performance/composition technique. She talked about short pieces, and I see that in her live performance (videos), she indeed segues into different sections (compositions?). I'd be curious to know how she works live, especially as she mentioned Yuko Araki and short pieces. Thanks for the tip, on Basak Günak (Ah! Cosmos).
